| Objective:On the basis of conventional treatment, patients with cobra bite were treated in groups by three methods of magnesium sulfate wet compress, and the effect of limb swelling reduction in each group was observed,in order to obtain the better method of magnesium sulfate wet compress.Methods:(1)A total of 75 cobra bite patients admitted to the emergency department of the Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities from July 2019 to October 2020 were collected, and the patients were randomly divided into three groups:A,B and C,with 25 patients in each group.(2)On the basis of the conventional treatment system, group A was soaked with 1 layer of magnesium sulfate for continuous wet dressing, group B was soaked with 8 layers of magnesium sulfate for continuous wet dressing, and group C was soaked with 16 layers of magnesium sulfate for continuous wet dressing.(3)The swelling range and degree of the affected limb were observed and recorded before treatment, the second day after treatment and the third day after treatment, and the total number of days in hospital and the total cost of hospitalization were recorded.(4)SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical processing.One-way analysis of variance was used to compare the three groups of measurement data.Pair comparison between measurement data groups, homogeneity of variance test, homogeneity of variance used SNK test;Tamhane’s T2 method was used when variance was not uniform, and P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Pearson Chi-Square or Fisher’s Exact Test was used for counting data.Chi-square segmentation was used for comparison between two groups. For comparison between three groups,P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:75 patients were included in this study, and the clinical data and experimental data were statistically analyzed. The results were as follows:(1)Comparison of general information:there was no statistical significance in gender, age, bite site, clinic time and disease grade among the three groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.(2)Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in the comparison of limb swelling range and degree among the three groups(P>0.05),which could be compared.(3)Swelling range:the changes in the range of swelling before and after treatment were compared among the three groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),showing that the range of limb swelling after treatment was reduced compared with that before treatment;Comparison was made between the three groups on the second and third days after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),showing that the swelling range improved most obviously after continuous wet dressing with magnesium sulfate soaked in 1 layer.(4)Degree of limb swelling:the three groups were compared before and after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),showing that the degree of limb swelling after treatment was improved compared with that before treatment;Comparison was made between the three groups on the second and third days after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),which showed that the swelling degree subsided most obviously after the magnesium sulfate soaked 1 layer of dressing continued wet application.(5)There was no correlation between the degree of limb swelling and the time to visit the hospital after the injury, and the time from the injury to the hospital for treatment had no significant effect on the degree of limb swelling.(6)There was a positive correlation between the time to visit the doctor after the injury and the disease grade. The later the time to visit the doctor after the injury, the higher the disease grade and the more serious the injury.(7)Complications:The incidence of complications in the three groups during treatment was recorded, and there was no statistical significance between the three groups(P>0.05).(8)The total number of days of hospitalization and total hospitalization cost:The total number of days of hospitalization and total hospitalization cost of patients in the three groups were counted, and there was no statistical significance between the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Limb swelling of different degrees may occur after cobra bite, and the condition will be aggravated with the extension of medical treatment time.It is particularly important to go to medical institutions for timely treatment after cobra bite.(2)After cobra bite, the degree of swelling can be evaluated by measuring the difference between the circumference of the healthy side and the affected side in the same plane. The continuous wet application of 1 layer,8 layer and 16 layer of magnesium sulfate dressings can reduce swelling to a certain extent, and the swelling range and degree can be improved after wet application.(3)After cobra bite, continuous wet dressing with magnesium sulfate soaked in 1layer has a more prominent swelling reduction effect. |
