| Objective : To evaluate the accuracy of solid manometry catheter in sphincter of Oddi manometry assisted by percutaneous choledochoscope with sleeve catheter as reference standard.Methods : The patients who underwent Oddi sphincter manometry from January 2018 to June 2020 in the second General surgery Department of Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University were taken as the research objects,and the clinical data of the patients were collected.Each patient used sleeve manometric catheter and solid state manometric catheter for SOM with self-control.Results:A total of 78 manometric data of 57 patients were obtained.Two patients(one had a history of Endoscopic sphincterotomy(EST)and the other without EST)had abnormal basic Sphincter of Oddi(SO)pressure(>40mm Hg).The results of solid manometry catheter and sleeve manometry catheter were consistent.In 8 patients with history of previous EST,there were significant differences in duodenal pressure,basic pressure of SO,contraction frequency and common bile duct pressure between the two catheters(p<0.05),but there was no significant difference in SO contraction amplitude(p=0.38).In 68 patients without previous EST,there was no significant difference between SO basal pressure and common bile duct pressure measured by two kinds of catheters(P = 0.45 and 0.66,respectively),but there were some differences in duodenal pressure,SO contraction amplitude and contraction frequency(P < 0.05).In addition,there is a certain correlation between the measurements obtained by solid-state pressure measuring tubes and sleeve pressure measuring tubes.Further Bland-Altman diagram analysis shows that the SO base pressure measured by the two catheters is in good agreement.Conclusion : There are some differences in the data of Oddi sphincter pressure measured by solid state manometric catheter and sleeve manometric catheter in this study.However,the conclusions obtained by manometry are completely the same.The solid-state pressure measuring catheter has the advantages of simple operation,safety and reliability,reasonable price and so on,so it has the potential to be widely used in SOM. |
