| With the rapid development of modern technology in our country, the fast-paced lifestyle causes the number of people who are not rescued in time due to sudden cardiac death as high as 550,000 every year.Universal first aid education has become one of the effective programs to avoid such incidents. Therefore, how to promote the learning of first aid knowledge by the public has become an issue of increasing concern. However, there are few related studies on the willingness to learn first aid knowledge at present, and there are even fewer literatures on the willingness to learn first aid knowledge from the perspective of psychological distance. Therefore, the research on the influence of the psychological distance of first aid events on the individual’s willingness to learn first aid knowledge has great theoretical and practical value.Combining the research question and research background, this article establishes a research model based on the interpretation level theory and behavioral willingness.Considering that the number of first aid experiences will have a perceptual impact on the individual, the number of first aid experiences is considered as the antecedent variable;the intermediate variable is the psychological distance of the first aid event, and the willingness to learn first aid knowledge is the dependent variable. In addition, because the individual’s own prosocial has a greater impact in the emergency process, prosocial is used as the moderator of the model to adjust the relationship between the intermediate variable and the dependent variable. Then, according to the research content,we find the questionnaire that is relevant to the topic, and get the questionnaire to be used in this research. Finally, combined with the research model, two direct action hypotheses and one moderating hypothesis are proposed, and then the model framework and hypotheses are analyzed and verified. In order to verify the theoretical model, this study used questionnaires to collect data, and finally collected 802 valid questionnaires.Using Smart PLS3.0 tools to analyze, the results show that first aid experience has a significant negative impact on the psychological distance of first aid events, and the psychological distance of first aid events also has a negative impact on the willingness to learn first aid knowledge, and it has a pro-social moderating effect. It plays a positive role in the influence of psychological distance on the willingness to learn first aid knowledge. Finally, according to the research results of this article, two suggestions are put forward,as well as the shortcomings of this research. |
