Observation Of Curative Effect Of Tong Du Huo Xue Decoction On Postoperative Residual Pain Of Degenerative Scoliosis

PurposeThrough the surgical evaluation of posterior spinal canal decompression and orthopedic fusion and internal fixation for the treatment of degenerative scoliosis,the clinical efficacy of Tong Du Huo Xue Decoction and without useing Tong Du Huo Xue Decoction was compared between the two groups of patients after operation,and the clinical effect of Tong Du Huo Xue Decoction on the treatment of postoperative residual pain in degenerative scoliosis was observed.MethodsPatients aged from 46 to 69 years old,with an average of 61.9years old,were selected from the inpatient Department of Hubei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Optics Valley Orthopedics Department)from July 2017 to July 2020.The course of disease ranged from 3 months to 25 years,with an average of 7.3years.According to the different methods of treatment would be consistent with degenerative scoliosis cases diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of the 36 patients,all the 18 patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group,control group patients with posterior vertebral canal decompression orthopedic fusion and internal fixation,postoperative anti-infection,osteoporosis,symptomatic treatment,such as nutrition nerve Observation group was additionally given Tong Du Huo Xue Decoction(oral,one dose per day,morning and evening)for 3 months.All patients underwent relevant examinations before and after surgery(lumbar X-ray,CT and MRI before surgery,lumbar X-ray one week after surgery,one month and three months after surgery).Visual analogue scale(VAS),Oswestry Disability Scale(ODI),Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)low back pain efficacy scores and Cobb angle were evaluated before,1 week,1 month,and 3 months after surgery,and residual pain and functional changes were compared.Results1.VAS scores of the control group were(6.94±0.94)and(5.10±0.94)before and 1 week after surgery,respectively,and(4.2±0.94)and(3.44±1.42)1 month and 3 months after surgery.VAS scores of the observation group were(6.94±0.94)and(4.31±0.94)before surgery and 1 week after surgery,respectively,and(3.1±0.94)and(2.17±1.38)1 month and 3 months after surgery.The differences were statistically significant by comparing different time nodes in the group(P<0.01).By comparison between the two groups,the value of observation group was lower than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).2.ODI scores in the control group were(34.83±4.09)and(30.83±3.76)before and 1 week after surgery,respectively,and(26.83±3.94)and(23.78±3.46)1 month and 3 months after surgery.ODI scores of the observation group were(35.22±3.69)and(29.01±3.87)before surgery and 1 week after surgery,respectively,and(23.47±3.56)and(20.22±3.41)1 month and 3 months after surgery.The differences were statistically significant by comparing different time nodes in the same group(P<0.01).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).3.J0 A score: in the control group,it was(11.81±1.57)and(16.35±1.15)before surgery and 1 week after surgery,respectively,and was(18.37±1.45)and(21.72±1.90)1 month and 3 months after surgery.J0 A scores of the observation group were(12.06±1.59)and(18.22±1.69)before surgery and 1 week after surgery,respectively,and(21.53±1.12)and(24.89±2.72)1 month and 3 months after surgery.The comparison showed that there were statistically significant differences at different time points in the same group(P<0.01).Comparison between the two groups showed that the value of observation group was higher than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).4.Cobb Angle: In the control group,it was(24.44°±3.12°)and(10.34°±1.94°)before surgery and 1 week after surgery,respectively,and was(10.45°±1.84°)and(10.81°±1.57°)1month and 3 months after surgery.Cobb angles of the observation group were(23.94°±3.06°)and(10.12°±1.87°)before and one week after surgery,respectively,and(10.36°±1.69°)and(10.80°±1.58°)one month and three months after surgery.By comparing the preoperative and postoperative Cobb angles of the same group,The difference was found to be statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion1.Posterior decompression and orthopedic fusion and internal fixation can maintain spinal stability while decompressing nerve roots,effectively relieve the pain of patients with degenerative scoliosis and restore the functional activities of the lumbar spine.2.Tong Du Huo Xue Decoction can relieve the symptoms of lumbar and leg pain and achieve rapid recovery of functional disorders in patients with degenerative scoliosis after surgery,with significant short-term efficacy.3.Internal fixation with posterior decompression and orthopedic fusion and postoperative application of Tong Du Huo Xue Decoction are safe,reliable and effective in the treatment of degenerative scoliosis.
