| Objective:To explore the efficacy of Bushen Hemai Recipe alone on the parameters of blood pressure(CBP)and ambulatory blood pressure(ABP)in patients with stage 2 isolated systolic hypertension(ISH)defined in ACC/AHA guidelines in 2017.To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Bushen Hemai Recipe in the initial treatment of hypertensionMethods:A prospective,completely randomized,positive drug-controlled,double-blind randomized clinical trial was designed.After 2 weeks of washout period,The antihypertensive effects of perindopril alone(control group,n=35)and Bushen Hemai recipe alone(experimental group,n=34)compared in patients in two stages of isolated systolic hypertension with kidney deficiency syndrome.The safety of control group and experimental group was evaluated for 24 weeksResults:There was no difference in baseline characteristics,CBP and ABP between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the parameters of CBP and ABP in both groups decreased significantly(P<0.05).After treatment,the PP of the experimental group was smaller than that of the control group(P<0.05),but there was no difference in the parameters of ABP between the two groups(P>0.05).No major adverse events occurred in the experimental group and the control groupConclusion:Both Bushen Hemai recipe and Perindopril can simultaneously reduce CBP and ABP in2017 ACC/AHA 2 ISH population.It is suggested that the antihypertensive effect of Bushen Hemai recipe alone may be similar to that of ACEI.Bushen Hemai recipe can not reduce the diastolic blood pressure(DBP)excessively,and may further reduce PP,which may be more suitable for mild ISH. |
