Objective: To investigate the characteristics of event-related potential P300 in patients with vascular cognitive impairment no dementia(VCIND)after acute ischemic stroke. Methods: A total of 62 first-time acute cerebral infarction patients who were admitted to the Department of Neurology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’s Hospital from August 2017 to July 2018 and had an onset time of 1-2weeks met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were enrolled according to their cognitive function level, including 32 patients in the VCIND group and 30 patients in the intelligent normal group.Event-related potential P300 and Montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA),Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL),the Mini-cog(Mini-cog),the memory Dysfunction Self-rating Scale(AD8)were tested on all patients and correlation analysis also was performed.Result:1.The latencies of Cz(360.31 ± 16.39ms)and Pz(360.56 ± 18.39ms)and Pz(360.56 ± 18.39ms)in the VCIND group were better than those in the intelligent normal group(319.57 ± 13.41 ms,326.07 ± 18.37ms),s),the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).The Cz(6.99 ± 2.75 u V)and Pz(7.37 ± 3.40 u V)amplitudes of P300 in the VCIND group were more intelligent than the normal group(8.87 ± 5.07 u V,9.07 ± 4.86 u V)decreased, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2.The P300 latency in the VCIND group was negatively correlated with the total score of MoCA score, visual space / execution ability(P <0.05),and the amplitude was negatively correlated with MoCA,attention and orientation(P<0.05),and the rest had no significant correlation(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.P300 VCIND group characteristics of patients: P300 latency Cz,Pz significantly prolonged,P300 amplitude Cz,Pz decreased.2.P300 is stability, objectivity, along with MoCA can complement each other to identify and diagnose patients with early cognitive dysfunction after acute stroke, which can be used as one of the diagnostic indicators.
