Chloasma is usually pigmented. It is more common in skin diseases. It is also called liver spot or butterfly spot.Chloasma is mostly located in the facial skin diagnosis, the skin is patchy, although irregular, but the boundary is clear,in addition to light brown and coffee, but also mostly light black and yellow brown.Chloasma was first called "swarthy"."Nanjing.Twenty Four Nan" has the saying:" The heart meridian of ShaoYin is blocked, causing blood to not flow, but leaving the face, until the face is black, the blood dies first.".ObjectiveIn this study,we collected the clinical research literature about acupuncture treatment of Chloasma in the past 20 years.During the time we discussed the characteristics of the acupoints and the law of acupoints matching. We also found the main acupoints so as to provide ideas and reference for the clinical treatment of Chloasma.MethodsLiterature sources:From January 1999 to January 2020,China Academic Journals’Full text Database collected(CNKI),Pubmed,Wangfang Database(CDDB)and Chinese Scientific Journal Database(VIP)regarding using acupuncture to treat chloasma. The title, subject and key words were used as the search entry and the search formula is chloasma, acupoints selections and acupuncture treatment methods.Inclusion and exclusion criteria of literature:inclusion criteria clearly diagnose chloasma or liver spot, treatment method and acupoint selection are clear;in the process of treatment, acupuncture points must be pricked with needles;inclusion criteria of acupoints:identify with reference to clinical 14 meridians and odd acupoints.Exclusion criteria do not meet inclusion criteria,The literature does not deal with the fourteen meridians and extra-meridians.Document data processing:The literature was selected according to certain inclusion and exclusion criteria and the found data were inputted into Microsoft Excel software and assistant platform for traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance software V2.5 is used for statistical analysis.Result192 articles were extracted include 14144 cases of Chloasma.17 articles focused on the treatment of Chloasma by the local multiple-superficial needling,23 on individual syndromes,5 on fire needle therapy,4 on the acupoint-injection therapy.102 points were recorded in this study with a total frequency of 1298,of which 25 points were used more than 15 times.Sanyinjiao(106)was the most frequently used point, followed by Ashi Points(104)Zusanli(101),Xuehai(83),Quchi(68),Ganshu and other commonly used points. In the statistics of the frequency of the use of meridians and collaterals there are 17 points of the bladder meridian of foot Taiyang with the frequency of 276;6 points of the spleen meridian of foot Taiyin with the frequency of 205;18 points of the stomach meridian of Foot Yangming with the frequency of 197;5 points of the large intestine meridian of hand Yangming with the frequency of 154;8 points of the governor vessel, with the frequency of 81.The frequency of Sanyinjiao Zusanli is the highest(77 times),followed by blood sea Sanyinjiao(64 times)and Blood Sea Zusanli(58 times).Other acupoints of these channels can be flexibly used for individualized treatment.ConclusionIt can be seen from the research results that Sanyinjiao is the first choice for the treatment of Chloasma. While in the usual acupuncture treatment, these acupoints are more likely to have a better result:Zusanli,Xuehai,Quchi and Ganshu. At the same time, acupoints from these Meridian can also assist the foot Taiyang bladder channel, foot Taiyin spleen channel, foot Yangming stomach channel, hand Yangming large intestine channel and Governor vessel. In compatibility of acupoints Sanyinjiao and Zusanli are the main prescription options.
