Objective: This research used a dynamic randomized group controlled trial.Observing and comparing the clinical effects of kneading rotary with pulling and orthopedic manipulation and traditional Tuina in the treatment of Congenital Muscular Torticollis(CMT),and providing a clinical basis for the promotion of the use of kneading and orthopedic manipulation in the treatment of Congenital Muscular Torticollis(CMT).Methods: Forty-five children with Congenital Muscular Torticollis who were diagnosed according to the diagnostic criteria of this study were enrolled in the outpatient clinic from April 1,2018 to January 1,2019.The patients were divided into experimental groups by dynamic equilibrium randomization.Twenty-two patients underwent kneading and orthodontic manipulation,and 23 patients in the control group were treated with traditional Tuina.The maximum diameter of the Sternocleido-mastoid mass,the angle of rotation of the neck,the angle of passive rotation of the neck,and the angle of neck compression and the lateral flexion angle of the neck,the degree of facial asymmetry were measured at the time of enrollment,treatmenting,and treatmented.Finally,to record the scores and analyze the obtained data to obtain the results.Results: The curative effect of the two groups was compared.The experimental group was cured,markedly effective,effective and ineffective.The treatment group was 3,6,7,and 6 cases,and the control group was 1,2,7,and 13 cases,P<0.05,means significantly statistical significance;12,4,5,1 cases in the experimental group,7 cases,5,8 and 3 cases in the control group,P>0.05,no significantly statistical significance.The total effective rate was 72.73% in the experimental group and 43.48% in the control group,P<0.05,which was statistically different.At the end of treatment,the experimental group was 95.46%,and the control group was 86.96%,P>0.05.The difference was not statistically significant.The total significantly effective rate was 40.91% in the experimental group and 13.04% in the control group,P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant.After treatment,the experimental group was 72.73%,and the control group was 52.17%,P>0.05.The difference was not statistically significant.The diameter of the mass was 18.50±3.381 mm in the experimental group and 12.38±4.658 mm after the treatment.The control group was 20.89±7.705 mm and 15.11±7.044 mm respectively.The difference of P=0.000 in the group was significantly statistical significance.There was no statistical difference between the groups P=0.577.The active range of motion of the neck was 17.15±7.362° in the experimental group and 12.64±7.152° after the treatment.The control group was 20.34±8.531° and 15.27±6.576°,respectively.The P=0.000 difference in the group was significant,and the difference between the groups was P=0.338 has the statistical significance.The passive rotation motion of the neck was 56.67±9.203° in the experimental group and 62.22±7.346° after the treatment.The control group was 55.22±7.193° and 60.10±5.901°,respectively.The P=0.000 difference in the group was significant,and the group had P=0.732 means Significant differences.The lateral flexion motion of the neck was 7.86±4.323° in the experimental group and 5.49±3.034° after the treatment.The control group was 8.97±4.232° and 7.00±3.637°,respectively.The difference between the groups was P=0.000,and the difference between the groups was P=0.470.Not statistically significant.The difference between the target and the angle of the mouth was 4.36±3.288 mm in the experimental group and 2.82±2.702 mm after the treatment.The control group was 7.09±4.348 mm and 6.00±3.849 mm respectively.The difference in the groups was P=0.000.The difference between groups P=0.100 was not statistically significant.Univariate analysis showed statistically significant difference between P=0.023 and P=0.003 after treatment.The comparison of integral,at mid-treatment and after treatment between the group P=0.000,the difference was statistically significant.Comparison between groups,integral difference in each treatment stage P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: Both kneading and orthopedic manipulation and traditional Tuina can effectively treat the Congenital Muscular Torticollis(CMT),both of which have good safety.The kneading and orthopedic technique is quicker and more effective,especially on the treament of the facial deformity.the effect of kneading and twisting orthopedics is definitely worth promoting. |
