Objective:To explore the relationship between Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromes of Diabetic Lower Extremity Arterial Disease and Common Carotid Artery Intima-media Thickness,Thickening of Common Carotid Artery Intima-media Thickness, carotid artery plaque detection rate, plaque nature and the degree of carotid stenosis.Method: The Diabetic Lower Extremity Arterial Disease patients were divided into blood stasis group and damp heat group, and Common Carotid Artery Intima-media Thickness,Thickening of Common Carotid Artery Intima-media Thickness, carotid artery plaque detection rate, plaque nature and the degree of carotid stenosis in each group were observed, and apply SPSS22.0 statistical system to describe and analyze the data statistically. Results: The Common Carotid Artery Intima-media Thickness in the damp-heat group was higher than that in the blood stasis group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Through Spearman correlation analysis,it was found that the Spearman correlation coefficient of CCA-IMT thickened and damp heat syndrome rs=0.294,P=0.023;Spearman correlation coefficient of Carotid artery moderate to severe stenosis and damp-heat syndrome rs=0.270,P=0.037.Conclusion: The thickening of CCA-IMT and moderate to severe carotid stenosis in DLEAD patients can be used as one of the important objective indicators of TCM syndrome differentiation.
