| Objective:Based on the theory of Qu Yu Chen Cuo,treating lower limb lymphedema with dampness-heat diffusing downward with Yinchen Simiao decoction,observing the changes in symptoms and signs before and after treatment and investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of Yinchen Simiao decoction in the treatment of lower extremity lymphedema.Methods:60 patients with lower limb lymphedema caused by dampness-heat diffusing downward from Department of Vascular Diseases,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM were randomly divided into a observation group and a control group,Yinchen Simiao decoction combined with manual lymphatic drainage and Diosmin tablets combined with manual lymphatic drainage were given respectively,14-day treatment cycle,and regularly observe the limb circumference of both lower limbs,TCM syndrome scores,safety indicators and adverse reactions.Results:(1)Compared with before treatment,both groups can reduce TCM syndrome score,limb circumference difference and LEL index,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)Compared with the control group,the observation group was superior to the control group in reducing TCM syndrome score and limb circumference difference;(3)The total effective rate of both groups was 100%,the cure rate(16.67%)and the markedly effective rate(86.67%)of the observation group were better than 3.33%and 43.33%of the control group,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion:Based on the theory of Qu Yu Chen Cuo,the use of Yichen Simiao decoction can effectively treat lower limb lymphedema with dampness-heat diffusing downward in reducing peripheral diameter difference,reducing lymphedema index and improving the symptoms and signs of patients,the effect is better than that of the control group,and the safety is higher.It provides an effective clinical method and research thinking for the treatment of lower limb lymphedema with dampness-heat diffusing downward. |
