Objective: To explore the significance of abnormal karyotype in the treatment and prognosis of acute leukemia. Methods: The clinical data of 137 newly treated patients with acute leukemia were collected from June 2017 to June 2019 in the Department of Hematology of our hospital. The therapeutic effect and prognostic significance of abnormal karyotype chromosome in patients with acute leukemia were analyzed retrospectively. Results: 1.The rate of abnormal karyotype was 64.23%.The detection rate of AML was 63.00% and that of ALL was 67.57%.There was no significant difference between AML and ALL(P > 0.05).2.The abnormal karyotype was mainly structural abnormality(70.45%),followed by complex abnormality(15.91%)and simple number abnormality(13.64%).3.The remission rate of normal karyotype patients in one course was significantly higher than that of abnormal karyotype patients(P < 0.05),and the time of OS and DFS was longer than that of abnormal karyotype patients(P < 0.05).4.The remission rate,OS and DFS time in one course of treatment in the complex karyotype abnormality group were significantly lower than those in the chromosome structure abnormality group and chromosome number abnormality group(P < 0.05).5.According to the cytogenetic prognosis, the patients were divided into three groups: good prognosis, medium prognosis and poor prognosis. There were significant differences in remission rate and mortality in one course among the three groups(P < 0.01).Conclusions:1.Karyotype analysis is of great significance for the treatment and prognosis of AL patients.2.The treatment effect and prognosis of complex karyotype is worse than that of chromosome structure and number abnormality.
