Research purposesBenign ureteral stenosis is a common ureteral obstruction caused by narrowing of the ureteral lumen. It is one of the rare diseases of the urinary system.Benign ureteral stenosis generally changes in the spiral structure of the parietal muscle. The passage of ureteral peristaltic waves is blocked, which causes upper urinary tract hydrops and renal function damage. In severe cases,it leads to irreversible renal failure, endangering and affecting the patient’s quality of life and life.health.In recent years, with the development of minimally invasive techniques, ureteroscopic intracavitary surgery has become the first choice in clinical practice. The commonly used intracavitary surgery for balloon dilatation has become a very common treatment for patients with benign ureteral stenosis.Ureteral stents are usually placed after cyst expansion. After the patient has the ureteral stent indwelling in the hospital, the time of out-of-hospital observation varies, and the ureteral stent will be removed from the hospital after the symptoms are stable.Research results have shown that during the catheterization period, patients will feel abdominal pain, hematuria, urgency, dysuria and other symptoms of bladder irritation,or have stent tube displacement, vesicoureteral urinary reflux, and formation of stones on the surface of the stent tube that are difficult to remove. With the development of medical technology, there are more and more types of ureteral stent tubes. Our clinically common ureteral stent tubes are composed of ordinary ureteral stents and metal ureteral stent tubes synthesized with some polymer materials. The clinical effects and adverse reactions of different stents after expansion may have different differences. The purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical effects of different ureteral stents after balloon dilatation of benign ureteral stricturesResearch methodsA retrospective analysis of the general clinical data of 69 patients who underwent balloon dilatation of benign ureteral stenosis at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from August 2018 to August 2020 was retrospectively analyzed.Divided into three groups based on the type of stent implanted, among them:the metal stent tube is used in group A,the double ordinary DJ tube is used in group B,and the single ordinary DJ tube is used in group C.There are 23 cases in each group.A comparative analysis of the baseline data, clinical effects and adverse reactions of the three groups of patients.Research resultsThere was no statistically significant difference in baseline data and treatment efficacy between the 3 groups(P>0.05).In terms of reducing the adverse reactions of patients after surgery, the metal stent tube group(group A)was significantly better than the double DJ tube(group B)and the single ordinary DJ tube group(group C)with statistical significance(P<0.05),double There was no significant difference between DJ tube(group B)and single ordinary DJ tube group(group C)(P>0.05).Research conclusionsFor benign ureteral stenosis after balloon dilation, the three stents can significantly improve the postoperative hydronephrosis and ureteral stenosis. However, the metal stent(group A)is lower than the double DJ tube(group B)and single ordinary DJ tube group(C)in reducing low back pain, fever, hematuria, frequent urination, and urinary urgency, and the formation of ureteral stents.group).
