Objective: By analyzing the characteristics and prognostic factors of 50 patients with synchronous primary endometrial and ovarian cancer(SEOC),and provide some reference for individualized treatment of patients with SEOC.Methods: Clinical date of50 cases which has been pathologically proven as the primary endometrial and ovarian cancer collected from January 2010 to August 2019 at Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University retrospectively observed.Results:(1)The mean age of women diagnosed with SEOC were(47.02±8.83)years.The abnormal vaginal bleeding was the common presenting symptoms the second one was abdominal pain34.0%.(2)The 1-year,3-year and 5-year survival rates of the group w were 96%,86%,82% respectively.(4)Prognostic factors: Univariate analysis showed that histology type of ovarian cancer(P=0.028),stage of ovarian cancer(P=0.010),histology grade of ovarian cancer(P=0.026),histology grade of endometrial cancer(P=0.000),endometrioid/endometrioid type of primary endometrial and ovarian cancer(P=0.019)was associated with a significant prognosis, while only histology grade of endometrial cancer and stage of ovarian cancer were the independent risk factors which affect the prognosis of patients. Conclusion: The features of the patients are premenopausal and main age is under 40.The independent risk factors which affect the survival rates of SEOC include histology grade of endometrial cancer and FIGO stage of ovarian cancer.FIGO stage of ovarian cancer above I-II and high grade of endometrial cancer have demonstrated a poor outcome among women with SEOC. |
