ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to explore the status quo of class psychological atmosphere, perceived social support and academic burnout in undergraduate nursing students, and to explore the relationship among them,so as to provide reference for reducing the level of academic burnout of undergraduate nursing students.MethodsIn this study,a convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey of 801 nursing undergraduate students in a medical college in Liaoning Province. The questionnaires included general survey form, the Academic Burnout Scale, the Class Psychological Atmosphere Scale, and the Perceived Social Support Scale.Use SPSS25.0 software to enter and organize survey data;use Pearson correlation to analyze the relationship between variables;use t-test and analysis of variance for the relationship between groups;use the number of cases(percentage)[n(%)] to describe the count data,The measurement data is described by the mean ± standard deviation(x ± s);the stepwise regression method is used to analyze and comprehend the mediating effect of perceived social support between the class psychological atmosphere and the academic burnout;the Bootstrap program is used to test the mediating effect, and the structure is constructed using AMOS24.0 Model, with P<0.05 as the difference is statistically significant.Results1.The total score of academic burnout of nursing undergraduates is(55.56±10.67)and the average score of items is(2.78±0.37).The average score of each dimension according to the items is as follows: misbehavior(2.92±0.38),low sense of accomplishment(2.77±0.20),low mood(2.68±0.46).There were statistically significant differences in the academic burnout of nursing undergraduates in different nursing levels, grades, effective learning time per day, learning initiative, attention and independence(P<0.05).2.The total score of class psychological atmosphere in nursing undergraduate students is(157.93±26.54)and the average score of items is(3.76±0.15).The average score of each dimension according to the items is as follows:class teacher atmosphere(3.86±0.09),cohesive atmosphere(3.85±0.08),class cadre atmosphere(3.84±0.33),learning atmosphere(3.74±0.11),collaboration atmosphere(3.66±0.20),culture and development atmosphere(3.57±0.09).The class psychological atmosphere of nursing undergraduates in different nursing levels, grades, effective learning time per day, learning initiative, attention, and independence were statistically different(P<0.05).3.The total score of perceived social support for nursing undergraduates is(66.52±11.28),the average score of items is(5.21±0.17),and the average score of each dimension is from high to low: family support(5.29±0.17),friend support(5.25±0.18),other support(5.09±0.14).There were statistically significant differences in the perceived social support of nursing undergraduates in different nursing levels, grades, effective learning time per day, learning initiative, and independence(P<0.05).4.Academic burnout and its various dimensions of nursing undergraduates are negatively correlated with perceived social support(r=-0.243,r=-0.313,r=-0.241,P<0.01);academic burnout and various its dimension are negatively correlated with class psychology atmosphere(r=-0.264,r=-0.280,r=-0.275,P<0.01);the perceived social support was positively correlated with the class psychological atmosphere(r=0.488,P<0.01).5.Perceived social support of undergraduate nursing students plays a partial mediating role between the class psychological atmosphere and academic burnout. The mediating effect value is 0.127,and the mediating effect accounts for 33.5% of the total effect(0.127/0.379).Conclusions1.The academic burnout of nursing undergraduates is at a moderate level, misbehavior is at a high level in all dimensions, depression is at a low level, and the sense of accomplishment is low at a general level. The lower the grade, the longer the effective learning time per day,the higher the learning initiative, the more concentrated, and the stronger the independence of nursing undergraduates, the lower the level of academic burnout. The level of academic burnout of undergraduate nursing students in secondary vocational colleges is the highest, and the level of academic burnout of undergraduate nursing students is the lowest.2.The class psychological atmosphere of the nursing undergraduate is at a relatively high level.Among all dimensions, the class teacher atmosphere, cohesion atmosphere and class leader atmosphere are the highest, the collaboration atmosphere and the culture and development atmosphere are low,and the learning atmosphere is at a general level. The lower the grade, the longer the effective learning time per day,the higher the learning initiative, the more concentrated, and the stronger the independence of nursing undergraduates, the better the class psychological atmosphere. The class psychological atmosphere of the undergraduate nursing undergraduates of junior college is the best, and the class psychological atmosphere of the undergraduates of high school undergraduate nursing is the worst.3.Perceived social support of the undergraduate nursing students is at a general level. In all dimensions, family support is the highest, other support levels are the lowest, and friend support is at a general level. The lower the grade, the longer the effective study time per day,the higher the learning initiative, the more concentrated, and the stronger independence of nursing undergraduates, the higher the perceived social support ability.Private undergraduate nursing undergraduates have the highest ability to perceived social support, and secondary nursing undergraduates have the lowest perceived social support.4.The class psychological atmosphere of the undergraduate nursing students is significantly positively correlated with the ability to perceive social support. The class psychological atmosphere and the perceived social support are both significantly negatively correlated with academic burnout. That is,the better the class psychological atmosphere of the undergraduate nursing students, the more they perceive social support, and the lower the level of academic burnout.5.Perceived social support plays a part of the mediating role in the class psychological atmosphere and academic burnout, that is,the mental climate of the class can affect the level of academic burnout through the perceived social support.
