Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of invigorating the brain eliminating phlegm and opening orifices in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(phlegm and fire disturbance syndrome). To verify the advantages and characteristics of syndrome differentiation in clinical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, and finally to provide an effective and feasible treatment for clinical practice.Method:The subjects were 60 cases from the pediatric outpatient clinic of the affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of traditional Chinese Medicine,60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group 30 cases and control group 30 cases according to random number table method.Treatment group: the traditional Chinese medicine prescription, the course of treatment is 1 month;Control group: Huanglian Wendan decoction, the course of treatment is the same as above.Result:(1)Determination of total therapeutic effect :3 cases were invalid in treatment group,4 cases were effective,6 cases were effective,17 cases were clinical controlled, the total effective rate was 86.67%;In the control group,10 cases were ineffective,4 cases were effective,6 cases were effective,10 cases were clinical control, the total effective rate was66.67%.After statistical analysis, there was a statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group(P <0.05).The results showed that the treatment group was better than the control group.(2)Evaluation of symptom and syndrome score:Through statistical analysis, the total score of symptoms in the treatment group and the control group was lower than that before treatment(P <0.01),and the total score of syndromes in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P <0.05).total score of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromes in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P <0.01).Explanation: It is suggested that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group. Conclusion: The effect of invigorating the brain eliminating phlegm and opening orifices in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(phlegm and fire disturbance syndrome)in children is remarkable, which proves that Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients.
