| Objective: To evalute the clinical efficacy and safety of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction in the treatment of recurrent urinary tract infection(kidney qi deficiency and dampness turbidity stagnation syndrome)by observing the TCM symptoms and laboratory indexes.Methods: In this clinical observation,72 patients with recurrent urinary tract infection syndrome including spleen and kidney qi deficiency and dampness turbidity stagnation syndrome who collected the outpatients and inpatients of the nephrology department of our hospital from December 2019 to June 2020.All of cases,divided into 36 cases of control group and treatment group.The former is treated with antibiotics,while the latter is treated with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction plus antibiotics.The duration of treatment was 4 weeks.After the end of treatment,the patients were followed up for 6 months,and the changes of observation indexes and safety indexes before and after treatment were recorded.Results: In this research,67 cases were finished.All of them,treatment group eliminate2 cases and control group eliminate 3 cases.After corresponding statistical analysis:1.After the treatment,treatment group and the control group had 91.18% and 69.70%of the total effective rate respectively,the difference was statistically comparable(p<0.05),indicating that the treatment group had an advantage over the control group in improving the efficacy of TCM syndromes.In improving the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine both groups could relieve the discomfort symptoms(p<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05)except for dry mouth(p>0.05)2.After treatment,for total effective rate,the treatment group was 88.2%,and the control group was 75.8%.After comparison,the difference was significant(p<0.05),indicating that the treatment group had an advantage over the control group in terms of disease efficacy.3.After treatment,two groups could reduce the number of urine WBC(p<0.01).Compared with the two groups(p<0.01),the treatment group preceded the control group.4.After the treatment,both groups could change the characteristics of urinary bacteria the difference between groups was significant(p<0.05),and the treatment group had an advantage over the control group the negative transformation of urinary bacteria.5.After 6 months of follow-up,there was an obviously different in the recurrence rate(p<0.01).The treatment group and the control group were 10.71% and 30%,indicating that the experimental group was better than the control group in reducing the recurrence rate and preventing recurrence.6.No obvious adverse reactions were observed in patients of the two groups.Conclusion: Clinical observation study shows that Buzhong Yiqi Decoction could has a direction on the clinical symptoms,living quality and decrease the recurrence rate of recurrent urinary tract infection(kidney qi deficiency and dampness turbidity stagnation syndrome),but also has a high safety,has clinical significance and is worthy of further study and application. |
