Objective:Assesing the variation of left atrial and left ventricular structure and function before and after radiofrequency catheter ablation for patients who are diagnosed with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation(NVAF)by combining the use of real-time three-dimension echocardiography(RT-3DE)and two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography(2D-STE),which provide a prognostic assessment of the outcome of radiofrequency surgery.Methods:59 patients with AF who received radiofrequency catheter ablation were selected as the case group,real-time three-dimension echocardiography(RT-3DE)and two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography(2D-STE)of patients with NVAF in the case group.At the same time,Choose 40 healthy people as the control group.Before radiofrequency ablation within one week and 6 months after surgery,a variety of ultrasonic techniques were used to measure left cardiac volume and functional parameters.Philips EPIQ 7C color Doppler ultrasonography was used for the electrocardiogram of the patient in the left lying position.Two-dimensional heart probe and three-dimensional full-volume heart probe were selected to measure the basic parameters of the patient’s heart:LAD,LVEDD,LVESD,IVSEDD,LVPWEDD and LVEF.Left ventricular volume and functional parameters:LVEDV,LVESV,LVGLS and LVGCS;Left ventricular synchronicity parameters:the time of minimal systolic volume of 16-segmental standard deviation and its’corrected parameters;Left atrial volume and functional parameters:LAVmax,LAVmin,LAGLS and LASt.Compare and analyze the above data lines.X~2test,t test and pearson analysis were used according to data types.Results:Comparison of left atrial parameters:The levels of LAGLS were meaningfully lower and LAD、LAVmin、LAVmax and LASt were meaningfully higher before and after treatment in the case group.The levels of LAGLS were meaningfully higher and LAD、LAVmin、LAVmax and LASt were meaningfully lower in the case group at6months after treatment.The LASt was negatively correlated with the LAGLS,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the left ventricular parameters:The levels of LVGLS、LVGCS were meaningfully lower and LVEDV、LVESV、Tsmv-16-SD and Tsmv-16-SD%were meaningfully higher before and after treatment in the case group.The levels of LVGLS、LVGCS were meaningfully higher and LVEDV、LVESV、Tsmv-16-SD and Tsmv-16-SD%were meaningfully lower in the case group at 6months after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:There are evidences that radiofrequency catheter ablation can profoundly upturn left heart function in patients with NVAF by comparing parameters of echocardiography of left heart structure and function.It can be discovered that left atrial and left ventricular structure and function were improved significantly after radiofrequency ablation,and influence each other.RT-3DE and 2D-STE can be used for the qualitative evaluation of curative effect in patients with NVAF after radiofrequency catheter ablation.
