| Objective:In this study, resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI)was used to observe and compare the changes and differences of brain functional activity in patients with acute ischemic stroke in dominant cerebral hemisphere and non-dominant cerebral hemisphere. Methods:In this trial,15 healthy subjects(HSs)were used as controls.30 patients with middle cerebral artery acute infarction of the different dominant hemispheres were divided into the dominant hemisphere group(DH)and the non-dominant hemisphere group(NDH)to obtain the the image data of ALFF,ReHo and FC(three indexs of rs-fMRI).Based on the Matlab 2012a platform, the data of three groups were compared by using two independent sample t-tests in the REST 1.8 software package and in the dPABI toolkit. Results:Compared with the healthy subjects(HSs),increased ALFF values in the brain areas such as bilateral midbrain were observed in DH.While decreased ReHo values in the brain areas such as orbital inferior frontal gyrus were also observed.Centered to the seed region of the right orbital superior frontal gyrus,FC increased at left brodmann area 20,etc.Centered to the seed region of the right rectus gyrus,FC increased at the right fusiform gyrus, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left orbital inferior frontal gyrus,FC increased at the left lingual gyrus, etc.Centered to the seed region of the right gyrus rectus,FC increased at the right tonsil of cerebellum, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left inferior occipital gyrus,FC increased at the left BA47,etc.Centered to the seed region of the right inferior occipital gyrus,FC increased at the left lobus insularis, etc.Centered to the seed region of the right cerebellar crus 1 areas,FC increased at the left parahippocampal gyrus, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left cerebellar crus 2 areas,FC increased at the left parahippocampal gyrus, etc.Centered to the seed region of the right cerebellar crus 2 areas,FC increased at the left parahippocampal gyrss etc.Centered to the seed region of the left cerebellar crus 3 areas,FC increased at the right inferior occipital gyrus, etc.Compared with HSs,the ALFF value of brain regions mainly in the left orbital superior frontal gyrus increased in NDH,while the ALFF value of brain regions mainly in the brain areas such ast the right inferior frontal gyrus decreased in NDH.The ReHo in the brain areas such as the left precuneus were increased, while the ReHo in the brain areas such as the right BA9 were decreased.Centered to the seed region of the dorsolateral superior frontal gyrus,FC increased at the left posterior cingulate cortex, etc.Centered to the seed region of the right orbital superior frontal gyrus,FC increased at the left BA18,etc.Centered to the seed region of the Rolandic_Oper_L(ALL),FC increased at the cortex around the left fissura calcarina, etc.Centered to the seed region of the right intraorbital superior frontal gyrus,FC increased at the cortex around the left lobule fusiform, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left insular lobe,FC increased at the cortex around the left lobule fusiform, etc.Centered to the seed region of the right insular lobe,FC increased at the cortex around the right posterior cerbellar lobe, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left cuneus,FC increased at the cortex around the left insular lobe, etc.Centered to the seed region of the right lobule fusiform,FC increased at the cortex around the left gyri orbitales, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left precuneus,FC increased at the cortex around the left lenticular putamen, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left paracentral lobule,FC increased at the cortex around the left lenticular putamen, etc.Centered to the seed region of the left gyri temporales transversi,FC increased at the cortex around the left gyrus lingualis, etc.Compared with DH,NDH have lower ALFF values in the left supplementary motor area and lower ReHo values in the right BA10.There was no statistically significant FC between DH and NDH.Conclusion:The changes of brain function in patients acute with ischemic stroke in dominant cerebral hemispheres and non-dominant cerebral hemispheres are similar, with functional recombination in areas related to vision, hearing, higher cognition and movement. |
