Professor Huang Guihua’s Experience In Treating Functional Dyspepsia And The Rule Of Chinese Medication

Objective: By reviewing Professor Huang Guihua’s clinical medical case for outpatient treatment from April 2018 to December 2020,a systematic statistical analysis of prescriptions for drugs explicitly diagnosed as functional dyspepsia patients was carried out,the law of medication for Professor Huang Guihua’s treatment of functional dyspepsia was derived,and his clinical experience in treating functional dyspepsia was summarized.Methods: The collection time was set from April 2018 to December 2020,221 patients who were diagnosed with functional dyspepsia and met the inclusion criteria,and included in the detailed medical records,all of them were attended Professor Huang Guihua’s outpatient visits in Dongge Hospital District and Xianhu Hospital District of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Their medical records were preprocessed and standardized,and a database was established through EXCEL form to analyze the patient’s occurred month,age group.Applying the TCM Heritage Computing Platform(V3.0),entering 221 cases that meet the inclusion criteria for retrospective research,using the "statistical analysis","prescription analysis" and "symptom analysis" functions in the "Data Analysis" module of the system,the case data will be counted,analyzed and data excavated to produce results.Results:1.In this study had 137 female patients(62%),84 male patients(38%),more female patients than male patients;The age is between 20 to 78 years old,among of them,the most common age group was 30 to 39 years old(29.41%),total 65 cases;followed by is 40 to 49 years of age with a total of 63cases(28.51%).2.The Chinese medicine diseases included in this study were 32 cases Epigastric pain(59.73%)and 89 cases Gastric distension(40.27%).The syndrome include spleen weak and gas hysteresis(42.99%),damp and heat hysteresis(25.34%),spleen and stomach gas weak(25.34%),spleen and kidney Yang weak(8.60%),stomach weak and heat(4.07%),cold and heat coexist(2.26%),spleen and stomach weak and cool(0.45%).3.This study involved a total of 222 symptoms,the top 10 are gastric distension,anti-acid,belching,dry mouth,stomach swelling pain,bad sleep,bitter taste,stool decay,stomach danhidden pain,after eating aggravated.4.The study involved a total of 24 kinds of tongue,of which the top ten were tongue white(85 times),moss white(81 times),tongue light red(61times),moss light white(58 times),tongue fat(33 times),tongue dim(36 times),tongue red(19 times),moss white and greasy(19 times),moss yellow and greasy(13 times),moss white and thick(13 times).A total of 11 pulse were involved,of which the top five were fine(102 times),sink(73 times),string(46 times),weak(42 times),slip(29 times).5.The study involved a total of 81 Chinese traditional medicine,in total2255 times,of which fifteen were Amomum caedamomum(176 times),fructus amomi(173 times),Actractylodes Macrocephala(159 times),malt(156times),honey-fried licorice root(149 times),Pinellia ternata(112 times),cuttlebone(108 times),ginger(101 times),Cassia Twig(99 times),fennel(99times),herba epimedii(93 times),trogopterus dung(93 times),pericarpium citri reticulatae(76 times),Fushen(72 times),Agastache rugosus(63 times).6.The study involved a total of 17 categories of Chinese medicine,the top five are dampness-resolving medicinal(625 times),tonify deficiency medicine(345 times),digestant drug(219 times),nourish the medicine(215 times),interior-warming drug(137 times);The four gas to the highest is temperature drugs,followed by flat,cold,hot,cool,five taste of the highest proportion of spicy drugs,followed by gan,bitter,salty,astringent,acid;The spleen,stomach,lung,kidney and liver were the main meridians,and the proportion of spleen and stomach was 52.32%.7.The core composition of Chinese medicine ≥ 100 times have 18 groups,the highest of which was 157 times(Amomum caedamomum,fructus amomi).The combination of confidence of more than 0.9 has 14 groups,the confidence is equal to 1 with fructus amomi,honey-fried licorice root→Amomum caedamomum,Amomum caedamomum,fructus amomi,honey-fried licorice root→Actractylodes Macrocephala.8.A total of 5 core combinations were excavated through cluster analysis,namely(1)Actractylodes Macrocephala,honey-fried licorice root ginger,fennel,Cassia Twig,fructus amomi;(2)Amomum caedamomum,Pinellia ternata,fructus amomi,malt,Agastache rugosus,pericarpium citri reticulatae;(3)Wu Zhuyu Actractylodes Macrocephala,fructus amomi,Amomum caedamomum,honey-fried licorice root ginger,cuttlebone;(4)Actractylodes Macrocephala,honey-fried licorice root ginger,malt,ginger,big yellow,Cassia Twig;(5)Pinellia ternata,medicated leaven,pericarpium citri reticulatae,Amomum caedamomum,fructus amomi,Actractylodes Macrocephala.Conclusion:1.Professor Huang Guihua thinks that the reason cause the FD happened is deficiency in origin and excess in superficislity.The reason is consist of FD is feeling evil,emotional disorders,eating disorders,overworked,living environment and old age,etc.The disease machine is an air machine disorder,spleen dysfunction.The disease is in the spleen and stomach,and is closely related to the liver and kidneys.2.Treatment of FD commonly used Xinwen Chinese medicine,more choice of wet,make-up drugs,pay attention to the spleen and kidney yangbased,to invigorating spleen and supplementing qi,resolving dampness to restore normal function of stomach as the main treatment,address both symptoms and root causes.
