| ObjectiveRational emotive behavior therapy in combination with mindfulness meditation training used in young patients with breast cancer,to explore the rational emotive behavior therapy in combination with mindfulness meditation training for young breast cancer patients with anxiety and depression,self-acceptance level and quality of life, for rational emotive behavior therapy in combination with mindfulness meditation training provides some references for the application in the young patients with breast cancer.MethodsEighty young breast cancer patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in the breast surgery department of a Grade A hospital in Hunan Province were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into the control group and the intervention group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine breast surgery care for 8 weeks, and patients in the intervention group received rational emotive behavior therapy combined with mindfulness meditation training for 8 weeks on the basis of routine care for the control group.Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Self-Acceptance Questionnaire(SAQ)and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast Cancer(FACT-B)were used to measure anxiety and depression,self-acceptance level and quality of life before intervention and 8 weeks after intervention, respectively.SPSS 23.0was used to input and process the data, the mean±standard deviation, frequency and composition comparison data were used for statistical description, and the single sample t-test,chi-square test, two independent samples t-test or approximate t-test,and Mann-Whitney U rank sum test were used for statistical analysis.Results(1)Before intervention, there were no significant differences in age, educational level, marital status and other general information between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)Before intervention,76 young breast cancer patients with SAS score was(57.16±8.23)points,SDS score was(57.84±7.05)points,in a state of mild anxiety and depression; The total score of self-acceptance was(36.29±6.16),which was in the middle level. The total score of quality of life was(80.91±10.90),which was in the middle level.(3)Before intervention, there were no significant differences in SAS score,SDS score, total score of self-acceptance and total score of quality of life between the control group and the intervention group(P>0.05).(4)At the end of the intervention 8 weeks, the SAS scores of the control group and the intervention group were(54.97±7.18)and(46.89±9.82),respectively.The anxiety scores of the intervention group were lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of SDS in the control group and the intervention group were(56.37±6.82)and(50.82±9.29),respectively.The score of depression in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total self-acceptance scores of the control group and the intervention group were(37.34±5.79)and(40.92±5.82),respectively.The total self-acceptance score of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total quality of life scores of the control group and the intervention group were(85.16±8.79)and(94.26±12.20),respectively.The total quality of life scores of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion(1)Before intervention,76 young breast cancer patients were in a mild state of anxiety and depression,in a medium level of self-acceptance,and in a medium level of quality of life.(2)The application of rational emotive behavior therapy combined with mindfulness meditation training in young breast cancer patients can relieve anxiety and depression, improve self-acceptance and improve quality of life of young breast cancer patients. |
