Objective: By observing the clinical effect and safety of acupoint sticking of modified Zhenwu Tang on the patients with kidney-yang deficiency type of salt-sensitive hypertension, this subjetct aims to accumulate data for the treatment of salt-sensitive hypertension with traditional Chinese medicine and to explore the new treatment of salt-sensitive hypertension in clincic. Methods:According to the principle of complete randomized control,64 patients with kidney-yang deficiency type of salt-sensitive hypertension who met the inclusion criteria from May 2020 to January 2021,were randomly divided into the treatment group(32 cases)and the control group(32 cases)by using a random number table.Control group was treated with conventional Western medicine(amlodipine besylate tablets 10 mg),while the treatment group was treated with acupoint sticking of modified Zhenwu Tang on the basis of conventional Western medicine treatment. The course of treatment in both two groups was 4 weeks. The changes of 24 h ambulatory blood pressure(blood pressure level, blood pressure variability, circadian rhythm of blood pressure),Salt-sensitivity,TCM syndrome score and life-quality score of hypertension were observed before and after the treatment. The observation of adverse reaction and safety were also involved during the trearment. The results would use SPSS 24.0 statistical software for data analysis.Results:1.During the observation of the experiment, due to 2 shedding cases, there were totally 62 patients completed the experiment including 31 cases in the treatment group and31 cases in the control group.2.Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in gender, age, duration of hypertension,24 h dynamic blood pressure(24h SBP,24 h DBP,d SBP,d DBP,n SBP,n DBP,SBPV,DBPV,circadian rhythm of blood pressure),salt sensitivity,TCM syndrome score and life-quality score of hypertension between two groups(P > 0.05).3.After treatment, there were statistically significant differences in 24 h dynamic blood pressure(24h SBP,24 h DBP,d SBP,d DBP,n SBP,n DBP,SBPV,DBPV,circadian rhythm of blood pressure),salt sensitivity,TCM syndrome score and life-quality score of hypertension between two groups. In the same time, the treatment group was better than the control group in antihypertensive efficacy, syndromic efficacy of TCM and life-quality score(P<0.05),which has more salt-insensitive patients after treatment.4.After treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in circadian rhythm of blood pressure between two groups(P>0.05).5.Patients in two groups both successfully completed the experiment, and no serious adverse reactions were found during the experiment. At the same time, there was no statistically significant differences in the safety indicators(blood routine examination, liver function, renal function, blood coagulation function, stool routine examination, urine routine examination)before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupoint application of Modified Zhenwu Tang can improve the antihypertensive effect and TCM syndromic effect of patients with kidney-yang deficiency type salt-sensitive hypertension, improve clinical symptoms and signs, and improve the quality of life.2.Acupoint application of Modified Zhenwu Tang can improve the salt-sensitivity in patients with kidney-yang deficiency type of salt-sensitive hypertension.3.Acupoint application of Modified Zhenwu Tang has no serious adverse reactions during the experiment, and it has good safety.
