| The incidence of depression is increasing gradually,and China has paid attention to and carried out the prevention and treatment of depression.The media plays an important role in spreading scientific knowledge of depression.Depressed people tend to engage in some health-promoting behaviors by their own in the early stage,and online help is an important way of self-help.The convenience of network,the richness of information resources and the culture and identity of virtual community all provide an important virtual life field for this special group.By paying attention to the online help-seeking behaviors and the influencing factors,we can understand the media usage habits and the influencing factors of depressed people,which will help some organizations to do some activities of spreading knowledge and medical treatment in a more scientific and targeted way.Based on the integrated model of behavior,this study takes behavior,behavioral intention,attitude,subjective norms,self-efficacy,risk perception,stigma and social support as the research variables,and explores their relationships.A total of 111 valid questionnaires were collected,and the data were analyzed by SPSS24.0 and AMOS24.0.This study first constructed a complete model based on the relationship between variables in the literature review,and then constructed a simplified model based on the data results using four key variables of online social support,attitude,self-efficacy and behavioral intention.The model had a good fitting degree.Besides,Process3.3 was used to verify the partial mediating effect of attitude.The study found that the stronger the intention of depressive people to seek help online,the higher the frequency of online seeking behavior.Among the three major factors affecting behavioral intention,attitude has a positive impact on intention,while self-efficacy and subjective norms have no significant impact on intention.In addition,the study also found that self-efficacy has a positive impact on attitude.Among the background influence variables of this study,offline social support negatively affects online help-seeking behavior,and positively affects self-efficacy;Online social support positively affects online help-seeking intention,attitude and subject norms,and can influence behavioral intention through attitude as a mediator;Risk perception has no significant effect on behavioral intention;Media exposure has a positive effect on risk perception;The degree of depression positively affects media exposure and risk perception,and affects risk perception through media exposure as a mediator. |
