| Objectives:To study the status and factors which affected posttraumatic growth in stroke pat ients. The dual intervention plan based on stress coping was formulated and implemented according to the preliminary survey and expert consultation, and application effect on stroke patients was explored.Methods:(1)Investigation phase of stroke patients.Taking purposive sampling method to extract 180 stroke patients of rehabilitation department of two hospitals in Nanchang from June 2020 to September 2020.The self-made questionnaire and the revised scale(PTGI)were used to investigate stroke patients, and to analyze factors that affected it.(2)Intervention study stage.Based on stress coping and retrieved literature, dual coping plan for stroke patients was developed.we selected 80 patients of hospitals in Nanchang from October 2020 to January 2021,and taked two layers of four treatment areas as experimental group including 40 cases,it was called the binary coping group,The control group consisted of 40 patients who received conventional rehabilitation therapy, the binary coping group increased the program for the patients and their spouses.Posttraumatic growth was measured by the PTGI scale two weeks ago and after one month, and quality of life was assessed by the Stroke Impact Scale. To see if there was a difference in the scores of the two groups, meanwhile to assess the impact of the binary response intervention on patients.Results:(1)The survey results showed that the PTG scores of stroke patients was measured by PTGI scale was 56.59±13.06,by the calculation interpersonal dimension, personal power dimension, new possibilities dimension and mental change dimension were 20.00±5.47,11.00±2.40,11.11±3.90,4.63±1.92 and 9.85±2.38.(2)There were significant differences in the overall level of of PTG of stroke patients with different genders, the final degree obtained, major types of care for patients, occupational status, the number and the time of illness(P<0.05).(3)Binary intervention results based on stress coping theory showed that there were no significant differences in the total scores of posttraumatic growth and quality of life between the two groups before and after the intervention(P>0.05).The results of intra-group comparison showed that the binary coping groupwere higher than those before intervention(P<0.05).The control group had a cert ain improvement, but the difference doesn’t mean anything(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)The posttraumatic growth of stroke patients was moderate and needed intervention support to improve further. They are able to interact normally with oth er people, and the mental level changed less.(2)The posttraumatic growth of stroke patients was mainly affected by different gender, the final degree obtained, major types of care for patients, occupational status, the number and the time of illness.(3)The dual intervention guided by stress coping theory had a significant effect on improving the PTG level and quality of life of stroke patients. In clinical nursing work, this intervention program can be referred to to promote the physical and mental health of patients. |
