| Objective:To observe the clinical rehabilitation effect and the improvement of emotion of non-surgical spinal decompression therapy on patients with lumbar disc herniation complicated with anxiety. And explore the pros and cons between the two. Methods:Eighty patients diagnosed as lumbar disc herniation complicated with anxiety and suffering from pain admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were divided into treatment group and control group randomly. Both groups received combination of electrotherapy, massage and stabilization exercise.Patients in the control group received general lumbar traction additionally while patients in the treatment group received non-surgical spinal decompression therapy.Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Oswestry Disability Index(ODI),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMA),Straight leg raise test(SLR)were applied at baseline and after treatment. The length of hospitalization and rehabilitation for both groups will be recorded.Observation and analysis of the two groups of patients after a period of rehabilitation treatment. Finally,SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis of the above collected data. Results:The baseline data and the data of Visual Analogue Scale,Oswestry Disability Index(ODI),Hamilton Depression Scale,Straight leg raise test before treatment had no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05),while they were improved greatly in both groups after comprehensive rehabilitation(P<0.05).After treatment,VAS score(1.95±1.31),ODI score(30.33±12.37),HAMA score(5.75±1.60)and SLR Angle(70.25±11.50)in the treatment group were significantly better than VAS score(2.73±0.96),ODI score(37.75±8.24),HAMA score(8.70±1.98)and SLR Angle(63.65±13.09)in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).Patients in treatment group need less hospitalization days(14.78±6.45)than control group(17.83±4.88)(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Both non-surgical spinal decompression therapy and general lumbar traction can effectively improve the symptoms signs, dysfunction and sentiment of patients with lumbar disc herniation complicated with anxiety.Non-surgical spinal decompression therapy has a better effect on the recovery of patients, and patients in treatment group need less Inpatient days. |
