ObjectiveThis study pick up patients with depressive disorder as the research object to explore the intervention effects of simplified cognitive behavioral therapy on the coping style and rumination.MethodsIn this study,thirty-seven patients with depressive disorder were assigned to two group by randomized controlled experiment design.The intervention group received simplified cognitive behavior therapy combined with drug treatment and the control group received supportive psychotherapy combined with drug treatment.There were eight interventions during 6 weeks,each lasting sixty minutes.From the first week to second week,face-to-face intervention was conducted twice a week and from the third week to six week online video intervention was conducted once a week.Hamilton Depression Scale-24(HAMD-24),Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9),Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ)and Ruminative Response Scale(RSS)were used for evaluation in depression,coping style and rummination before and after the intervention.Result(1)A total of 30 cases were included in the statistical analysis,including 16 in the intervention group and 14 in the control group.There was no significant difference in the general demographic data between the intervention group and control group(p>0.05).And the baseline scores of depression,coping style and rummination were no significant difference(p> 0.05).(2)The HAMA-24 score and PHQ-9 score of two groups were significantly lower than those before the intervention(p<0.05);the difference of depression scores before and after the invention in intervention group significantly higher than that in control group(p<0.05).(3)The score of positive coping style in the invention group were significantly higher than those before the intervention(p<0.05),however the scores of negative coping styles in the intervention group and the scores of positive coping styles and negative coping styles in the control group before and after the intervention were no significantly difference(p>0.05).The difference of positive coping style scores before and after the invention in intervention group significantly higher than that in control group(p<0.05).(4)The scores of RSS,depressive symptoms,brooding,and reflection in the intervention group were significantly lower than those before the intervention(p<0.05),but in the control group only symptom rumination significantly lower than before(p<0.05).The difference of the total RSS score as well as three dimensions before and after the invention in intervention group significantly higher than that in control group(p<0.05).Conclusion(1)Simplified cognitive behavior therapy combined with drug treatment have improving effect on depression in patients with depressive disorders.(2)Brief cognitive behavioral therapy combined with drug treatment can effectively enhance the positive coping style of patients with depressive disorders,reduce their symptoms rumination,brooding,and reflection and total level in rummination.And the effect is better than that of supportive psychotherapy combined with drug treatment.
