Traditionally,dentists perform diagnosis and treatment by measuring and manipulating dental molds,which are costly,time-consuming,and low in accuracy.Now,digital models of 3D teeth provide important clinical treatment information for dentistry.With the help of digital models,dentists can realize digital,efficient and accurate dental treatment by implanting medical instruments or implants into the interdental surface for diagnosis and surgical planning.Traditional medical staff manually perform dental implants that have been unable to meet the accuracy required by the current dental implant industry.The use of surgical planning and navigation systems for convenient and accurate dental implant surgery has become an important trend.However,the existing navigation systems for dental implant surgery are mostly monopolized by foreign products,and it is difficult to be popularized by small and medium hospitals and dental clinics.In this context,this paper combined the theory of CBCT image processing and 3D visualization methods to study the key techniques of navigationg system of dental implant surgery.The main contents can be summarized as follows:(1)Researched CBCT image preprocessing theory,analyzed the image characteristics of the standard format of medical images,compared CBCT with ordinary CT images,and optimized image filtering and image interpolation algorithms that are more suitable for the nature of CBCT images.(2)Based on CBCT image segmentation theory.The advantages and disadvantages of the traditional level set segmentation algorithm and the threshold segmentation algorithm are compared and analyzed,and an image segmentation method based on the PSO joint level set algorithm is proposed by improving the traditional level set segmentation algorithm.And verified the sequence of CBCT images for segmentation verification.(3)Combine the theory of three-dimensional reconstruction algorithm.Through the comparison and discussion of two different rendering methods,volume rendering and face rendering,the moving cube algorithm in the face rendering method is selected to reconstruct the dentition and jaw in three dimensions.At the same time,in order to make the reconstructed 3D model more accurate and faster,an improved moving cube algorithm is proposed,and the actual sequential slice images are used to verify the reconstruction effect and operating efficiency of the algorithm.(4)A set of supporting software for implant surgery navigation system was developed based on the VTK development software package.The software can realize dental implant surgery planning and surgical navigation functions,through threedimensional interactive operation and virtual sectioning function,it is convenient for medical staff to plan and design dental implants,and the accuracy of the implant position is ensured by measurement technology.Finally,the simulation and simulation of dental implant surgery are developed.Simulate navigation module to warn of collision damage and implant position out-of-tolerance during implant surgery.
