| Background and Objective Pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors(p NET)are a heterogeneous subtype of lung cancer,ACcounting for a low proportion of all lung cancers, including small cell lung cancer(SCLC),large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma(LCNEC),atypical carcinoid(AC)and typical carcinoid(TC).In recent years, with the continuous improvement of diagnostic techniques, its incidence is increasing. However, there are few reports on non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors(p NET),and its clinical characteristic and prognosis are still unknown. Therefore, this study retrospectively analyzed the clinical characteristics of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors(p NET),and discussed the prognostic factors. Methods The clinical data of 63 patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors(p NET)admitted to the General Hospital of宁夏医科大学Medical University from June 2011 to June 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The parameters were evaluated by univariate and multivariate analysis, including the gender, age, smoking history,TNM stage, tumor location(right or left),tumor size, lymph node status, metastasis, histological type and treatment. Results There were a total of 63 patients,29 cases were large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma(LCNEC),17 cases were atypical carcinoid(AC),and 17 cases were typical carcinoid(TC).By the end of follow-up,a total of 21 cases had died, including 19 cases of large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma(LCNEC)and 2 cases of atypical carcinoid(AC).All the typical carcinoid(TC)patients survived. The median follow-up time of large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma(LCNEC),atypical carcinoid(AC),and typical carcinoid(TC)was:8months、15months、35.5months,The half-year survival rates were 47.1%,86.7% and 100%,the 1-year survival rates were 28.6%,84.6% and 100%,and the 3-year survival rate of typical carcinoid was 100%.LCNEC and AC failed to calculate the 3-year survival rate due to too much missing data.Univariate analysis showed that age(P =0.019),smoking history(P=0.005),pathological type(P =0.000),number of lesions(P =0.018),distant metastasis(P=0.000),tumor size(P =0.005),TNM stage(P =0.000),surgical treatment(P =0.000),and Ki67 index(P =0.000)were the factors that affected the prognosis of patients.Multivariate analysis showed that smoking history(P=0.027)and pathological type(P= 0.002)were independent factors affecting the prognosis of patients. Conclusion The prognosis of atypical carcinoids(AC)and typical carcinoids(TC)is better than the large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma(LCNEC).Smoking history may influence the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors(p NET). |
