| Objective: To investigate the factors affecting the time of thoracic drainage tube insertion after uniportal video-assisted thoracoscope surgery for lung cancer. Methods: In this study,199 patients with primary lung cancer who was operated by uniportal video-assisted thoracoscope surgery in the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from January 2018 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the length of postoperative thoracic drainage tube retention days: group 1(the postoperative thoracic drainage tube retention days< 5 days)and group 2(the postoperative thoracic drainage tube retention days ≥ 5 days). The possible factors which may affect the length of postoperative thoracic drainage time were analyzed by univariate analysis between the two groups, and then the selected factors were analyzed by binomial logistic multivariate regression analysis. Results: The results of binomial logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that age≥ 60 years old, operation time ≥ 180 min, operation site, thoracoscopic segmentectomy, pleural adhesion, and early postoperative ambulation(within postoperative 24 hours)were independent factors affecting the length of postoperative thoracic drainage tube retention time. Conclusions: Patients with multiple independent influencing factors of prolonging the length of postoperative thoracic drainage tube retention time, individualized treatment plans should be established for each patient to reduce the length of postoperative thoracic drainage time, reduce the days of hospitalization and speed up the recovery of patients. |
