Study On The Status And Influencing Factors Of Cognitive Frailty In Community-dwelling Elderly Patients With Diabetes In Shenyang

Objective: This study was aimed to investigate the status and influencing factors of cognitive frailty in community-dwelling elderly patients with diabetes in Shenyang,so as to provide basis for future intervention and contribute to the promotion of healthy aging.Methods: From August 2020 to December 2020,a total of 200 elderly patients with diabetes were selected by convenience sampling.The investigation tools included a genenal information questionnaire,FRAIL,SCD-Q9,MOCA,GDS-15,MNASF.Epi Data3.1 data entry was used to establish the database,and SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for data processing.Results: Among the 200 community-dwelling elderly patients with diabetes,66(33.0%)were cognitive frailty,including 4(2.0%)with reversible cognitive frailty,62(31.0%)with potential reversible cognitive frailty,and 134(67.0%)without cognitive frailty.Univariate analysis showed that different age,living,education level,marital status,exercise,hearing,chronic disease categories,nutritional status,depression were statistically significant for cognitive frailty(P<0.05),while children,gender,income,drinking,smoking,eyesight,fall,BMI,course of the disease,complications were no statistically significant for cognitive frailty(P>0.05);Logistic regression analysis showed that age,education level,hearing impairment and depression were were statistically significant for cognitive frailty(P<0.05).Conclusion: The prevalence of cognitive frailty is at a high level among communitydwelling elderly patients with diabetes in Shenyang.Age,educational level,hearing impairment and depression were the influencing factors of cognitive frailty.
