Objective: Explore the relationship between the gastroesophageal reflux(GER)of preterm infants and the bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD),and thus provide the theoretical basis for the clinical treatment. Methods:A retrospective case study was conducted on 176 preterm infants admitted to the First Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University during January 2019 and December 2020.Inclusion criteria:preterm infants of gestational age within 32 weeks,or birth weight within 1500 g,had completed 24 h dynamic double-p H-impedance gastroesophageal examination during hospitalization.According to the results, divided the preterm infants into GER positive group and GER negative group. Then compared the BPD incidence of infants between the two groups.Logistic regression analysis was used to determine whether GER positive was an independent risk factor for BPD,thus analyzed the relationship between GER and BPD in premature infants. Results:Among the 176 preterm infants,75 cases(42.6%)were GER positive and101 cases were GER negative. There was no significant difference in gender, birth weight or gestational age(P>0.05).The incidence of BPD was significantly increased in the GER group of preterm infants(P<0.05).The preterm infants GER characteristics were different from those in the non-BPD group. It mainly manifested as acid reflux whose proportion increased with higher degree of BPD.But there was no statistical significance in comparing the characteristics of GER among different BPD groups(P>0.05).GER was a risk factor for BPD in preterm infants, and OR value was 3.067(95%CI: 1.412,6.663)(P <0.05).Conclusions:GER in preterm infants may be related with the occurrence of BPD.Preterm infants with positive GER has a higher incidence of BPD.GER is an independent risk factor for BPD.Avoiding low gestational age,low weight premature delivery, effective prevention and treatment of GER,can reduce the occurrence of BPD,improve the quality of life of premature infants.
