Objective. We investigated the associations between five movements and six climates and acute coronary syndrome(ACS)as well as its TCM syndrome type,so as to search for relevant factors linked to the occurrence of acute coronary syndrome. We aimed to provide a theoretical guidance for the prevention and treatments for acute coronary syndrome.Methods.A retrospective study method was performed. We recorded the clinical parameters of patients hospitalized in the cardiovascular department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine at the time between January 20,2017 and January 20,2020.We enrolled the cases of acute coronary syndrome patients that fulfilled the inclusion criteria. We counted the total number of hospitalizations and the number of ACS patients, and calculated the ratios between them, respectively in each part of five movements and six climates,so as to find out correlations between the ratios and five movements and six climates through statistical methods.Results.The incidence of ACS in males was three times higher than in femals. The occurrence of ACS was mostly concentrated at the time of 7:00-9:00am,11:00-13:00 am,23:00-1:00am.By statistical methods,we did not find the correlations between the incidence of ACS and five movements and six climates. We observed that in certain parts of five movements and six climates,ACS incidences were higher than the other parts. The distributions of TCM syndrome types were different in various parts of five movements and six climates. However, there are no significant differences in the distribution of TCM syndromes between the Sutian(first half of the year)and the Zaiquan(second half of the year).Conclusion.The incidence of ACS did not correlate with the five movements and six climates. There are differences in the distribution of TCM syndrome types of various parts of five movements and six climates.
