ObjectiveThe purpose of this project is to observe the clinical observation of the treatment of patients with neck and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery by medium-frequency pulse electrical stimulation of the neck and shoulder area, and to evaluate the therapeutic effect of this method, and strive to find a method that can quickly relieve pain, has significant clinical effects and is easy to accept Treatment of neck and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery.MethodsPatients who were hospitalized with thyroid surgery in the Second Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the case collection objects, and 60 patients meeting the criteria were selected for clinical observation.According to the random number table method,60 patients meeting the criteria were divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. On the basis of conventional Western medicine treatment, the treatment group was treated with medium-frequency pulse electrical stimulation of the neck and shoulder points(Tianzhu,Jingbailao,Dazhui)for 20 minutes each time, once a day,for 3 consecutive days;the control group adopted Western medicine routine treatment. The two groups of patients were evaluated for VAS pain score,Neck Pain Questionnaire(NPQ),clinical efficacy, patient satisfaction, and safety before postoperative treatment and 1,2,and 3 days after surgery.Use SPSS25.0statistical software to process the data.Results1.VAS score: Analyze the score trend in Figure 1:(1)Overall comparison:It can be clearly seen the trend of the VAS pain score of the two groups of patients with time;the trend of the VAS pain score of the two groups of patients over time is roughly the same;Compared with the control group, the VAS pain score of the treatment group has a more obvious downward trend, indicating that the treatment group is better than the control group in relieving pain after thyroid surgery.(2)Comparison between the two groups of patients at different time points: comparison of the data of the two groups of patients before postoperative treatment and the first, second, and third day after postoperative;P>0.05 before postoperative treatment of the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant and comparable The P value was less than 0.05 on the first 1,2,and 3 days after operation, indicating that the difference between the two groups was statistically significant, and the average VAS pain score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, indicating that the treatment group had better analgesic effects.2.Neck Pain Scale Questionnaire(NPQ)score: the comparison between the two groups of patients before treatment after surgery,P=0.902>0.05,indicating that the difference in the scores of the two groups of patients before treatment is not statistically significant and comparable; The Neck Pain Questionnaire(NPQ)scores of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,P=0.000<0.05,indicating that the difference between the two groups of patients before and after treatment was statistically significant, and the two groups had certain treatment effects;but the two groups The results after treatment were compared,P=0.000<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant;it showed that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving neck and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery after receiving the two treatment factors.3.In terms of clinical efficacy evaluation: The treatment group and the control group are effective in treating neck and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery. In the treatment group, there are 30 cases,21 cases are cured,8 cases are improved,1 case is unhealed, and the total cure rate is 96.7%;control In the group of 30 cases,12 cases were cured,15 cases improved,and3 cases were not cured. The total cure rate was 90.0%;the rank sum test was P=0.019<0.05,the difference was statistically significant, and the cure rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control Group of.4.In terms of patient satisfaction: 30 cases in the treatment group,22 cases were very satisfied,6 cases were satisfied,2 cases were generally satisfied,0 cases were dissatisfied, and the overall satisfaction rate was93.3%;30 cases in the control group,15 cases were very satisfied, and 6 cases were satisfied. For example,8 cases were generally satisfied and 1 case was dissatisfied. The overall satisfaction rate was 70.0%;using the rank sum test,P=0.030<0.05,the difference was statistically significant. The overall satisfaction of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group.5.Safety assessment: During the study period,no serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups of patients.ConclusionThis study found that intermediate frequency pulse electrical stimulation of cervical and shoulder acupoints(Tianzhu,Jingbailao,Dazhui)and conventional Western medicine treatment of cervical and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery can achieve certain effects, but intermediate frequency pulse electrical stimulation is compared with conventional Western medicine treatment Neck and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery has better effects in improving VAS pain score, neck pain scale questionnaire(NPQ)score, clinical efficacy, and patient satisfaction. This shows that the intermediate frequency pulsed acupoint electrical stimulation has a definite effect on the treatment of neck and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery, and there is no obvious adverse reaction. It provides a practical basis for the application of the intermediate frequency pulsed acupoint electrical stimulation to patients with neck and shoulder discomfort after thyroid surgery.Promotion and application of stimulation therapy.
