Abstract/Summary:
Objectives To observe the influence of guided imagination music therapy with sleep exercises on the sleep disorders and anxiety of the elderly in rural areas, aiming to explore a convenient and economical non-pharmaceutical intervention model for rural elderly with sleep disorders and anxiety. Methods From August 2019 to June 2020,we randomly selected 4 villages out of 15 natural villages in the big data survey in Xiaoji Town,Fengnan District,Tangshan City,Hebei Province. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Self-rating Anxiety Scale were used for preliminary screening, and 40 people were randomly selected from each village,a total of 160 elderly people were selected. The four villages were randomly matched to 4 groups, and the 4groups were randomly assigned to the guiding imaginary music therapy + sleep exercise group(experiment 1 group),the guiding imaginary music therapy group(experiment 2 group),the sleep exercise group(experiment 3 group)and the control group, give corresponding interventions. Before the intervention,in the first cycle,in the second cycle, used the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale,Insomnia Severity Index Scale,MorningnseeEveningness Questionnaire-19,Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Fatigue Scale-14,and Brief Pain Inventory to evaluate the effect of the intervention subjects.SPSS 23.0 software was used for data entry, and statistical analysis was carried out according to the type of data. Results 1 Intervention effect of sleep statusin the elderly: before the intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,Insomnia Severity Index, and Circadian Sleep Rhythm scores of the four groups of elderly people between groups and pairwise comparisons(P>0.05).After the first and second cycles of the intervention, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,Insomnia Severity Index, and Circadian Sleep Rhythm scores of the experiment 1 group were better than the experiment 2 group, the experiment 3 group and the control group, the experiment 2 group was better than the experiment 3 group and the control group, the experimental 3 group was better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the differences in time effects,inter-group effects and interaction effects were statistically significant(P<0.001).2 Intervention effect of anxiety in the elderly: there was no statistically significant difference in anxiety self-evaluation between groups and pairwise comparisons before intervention(P>0.05).After the first and second cycles of the intervention, the anxiety self-evaluation scores of the experimental 1 group were better than those of the experimental 2 group, the experimental 3 group and the control group, and the experimental 2 group was better than the experimental 3 group and the control group, the experiment 3 group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001);repeated measures analysis of variance shows there were statistically significant differences in time effects,between-group effects and interaction effects(P<0.001).3 Intervention effect of fatigue and pain in the elderly: there was no statistically significant difference between the four groups of elderly fatigue and pain before the intervention(P>0.05).After the first and second cycles of the intervention, the fatigue and pain scores of experiment 1 group were better than the experiment 2 group, the experiment 3 group and the control group, the experiment 2 group was better than the experiment 3 group and the control group, and the experiment 3 group was better than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the differences in time effects,inter-group effects and interaction effects were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Guiding imaginary music therapy and sleep exercises can affect the sleep status, anxiety, fatigue and pain of the elderly in rural areas to varying degrees. When the combined application of the two is more effective and suitable for rural elderly people,we look forward to further research on promotion.Figure9;Table23;Reference 171...
