Objective: To explore the characteristics of cognitive impairment in patients with bipolar disorder at stable stage.Methods:(1)There were differences in information processing speed,attention/alertness and MCCB scores between patients with bipolar disorder and healthy control group(P<0.01).In the remaining five domains, there were no significant differences between stable bipolar patients and healthy controls.(2)There were no significant differences in7 cognitive domains and MCCB scores between patients with bipolar disorder type I stable stage and patients with bipolar disorder Type II stable stage;(3)There was a positive correlation between information processing speed and MCCB total score and years of education in bipolar I patients(R=0.588,P=0.000;R =0.560,P=0.000),MCCB total score was negatively correlated with HAMA14 score(r=-0.340,P=0.046).Information processing speed was positively correlated with untreated years(r=0.409,P=0.025),and attention/alertness was positively correlated with HCL32(r=0.509,P=0.004).Results:(1)There were differences in information processing speed,attention/alertness and MCCB scores between patients with bipolar disorder and healthy controls(P<0.01)were lower than those in healthy control group. In the remaining five domains, there were no significant differences between stable bipolar patients and healthy controls.(2)There were no significant differences in 7cognitive domains and MCCB scores between patients with bipolar disorder type I stable stage and patients with bipolar disorder Type II stable stage;(3)There was a positive correlation between information processing speed and MCCB total score and years of education in bipolar I patients(R=0.588,P=0.000;R =0.560,P=0.000),MCCB total score was negatively correlated with HAMA14 score(r=-0.340,P=0.046).Information processing speed was positively correlated with untreated years(r=0.409,P=0.025),and attention/alertness was positively correlated with HCL32(r=0.509,P=0.004).Conclusion: 1.Information processing speed and attention/alertness are impaired to a certain extent in patients with stable bipolar disorder, which is not obvious among patients with stable bipolar disorder;2.The decrease of information processing speed in patients with bipolar DISORDER TYPE I was related to years of education, the decrease of information processing speed in patients with bipolar disorder type II was related to years of treatment.
