Objective: To investigate the difference of Blood pressure variability(BPV)in heart failure patients with the reduced EF value and non-reduced EF value. Methods: In this study,220 patients with chronic heart failure who had perfected 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM)in our hospital were included and divided into two groups : reduced ejection fraction group and non-reduced ejection fraction group.BPV was recorded according to the ABPM results.BPV was expressed by the standard deviation of blood pressure. The standard deviation of 24-hour systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure(24 h SSD,24 h DSD),daytime systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure(d SSD,d DSD),nighttime systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure(n SSD,n DSD)were recorded for each patient. Finally, they were statistically analyzed.Result:1.There was no significant difference in age, gender, fasting blood glucose,BMI,total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein, triglycerides, underlying heart disease and other basic data between the reduced EF group and the non-reduced EF group(P > 0.05);2.All indicators of blood pressure variability in patients with heart failure in the reduced EF value group were higher than those in the non-reduced EF value group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);3.BPV was positively correlated with BNP in patients with heart failure in both the reduced EF value group and the non-reduced EF value group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05)。Conclusion:1.BPV is higher in patients with reduced EF than in patients without reduced EF.2.BPV is positively correlated with BNP in patients with different types of heart failure, indicating that BPV has certain clinical application value in assisting in evaluating the severity of illness and judging the prognosis of patients with heart failure.
