| In terms of literary creation,the most vital function of imagination is the creation of artistic images.There are,however,not many papers devoted to studying artistic imagination from the perspective of image creation function,leading to that there are still some problems in theory to be further reasoned and evolved.Hence,this paper,which is expected to discuss the relationship between imagination and artistic imagination creation again on the basis of predecessors,adopts the three theoretical and practical perspectives of "two big and one small".First,this paper changes the past research method which is only limited to the pure artistic imagination stage from the memory representation to the image generation,instead,it examines the whole process from the image to the artistic image formation in the work from a more macroscopic angle,which is the first macro perspective of this study;Second,as the unity of artistic quality and ideological content is the supreme goal of literary works,this paper holds that the artistry here is mainly embodied in image and emotion.The unity of image,emotion and thought is the result of the fusion of emotion and reason with image in artistic imagination,and emotion and rationality permeate the whole process and all stages of artistic image formation.Consequently,from the unity of form,emotion and meaning,viewing the generation of artistic images is another macro perspective of this study;Third,when scholars explore the process of artistic imagination creating new images,they mostly describe the process as "creation","analysis and synthesis" or "decomposition and reorganization".Although there are also words of "processing","transformation" and "combination" for specific creations,they tend not to be exhaustive.On this basis,this paper tries to analyze this narrow sense of artistic imagination to explain this complicated process more clearly,and classify artistic images according to the different image creation processes and the classification of traditional artistic imagination,which is the microscopic perspective of this paper to study artistic imagination.Finally,theory must be combined with practice to better illustrate the problem.Mr.Chen Yongquan is a renowned contemporary playwright,who has created many artistic models in his 20 to 30 years of creation.In particular,Cheng Ying,Zhu An,Ah-Q and Kong Yiji in his three representative works are of great inspiration to me in creating artistic images.This paper is expected to discuss the generation of these artistic images and their reference significance to Wang Danqing’s artistic image in my drama Forgiveness,and to better demonstrate the relationship between imagination and artistic image creation in practice,which acts as the practical perspective of this study.In conclusion,four perspectives are employed in this paper to discuss the relationship between imagination and artistic image creation,so as to be beneficial to the research of the later. |
