| This paper is a translation practice report on the implications of artificial intelligence for future work.From a global perspective,artificial intelligence technology is constantly making new breakthroughs.Compared with previous technological progress,the uncertainty of the impact of artificial intelligence technology on the labor market is becoming more and more obvious.The selected translation task is a research paper entitled The Economics of Artificial Intelligence:Implications for the Future of Work.This type of text is highly targeted,accurate in description,focused on narrative,and rigorous in expression.It has a strong purpose and outstanding practical value.This translation report consists of four parts.The first part of this paper mainly discusses the project on the progress of artificial intelligence technology and the impact of wide application.The paper will translate selected excerpts of artificial intelligence economics into Chinese.And comprehensively introduce the current background information of artificial intelligence economics,introduce the current research status of artificial intelligence economics at home and abroad,and on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of the source text,clarify that the practical task of translation is to accurately translate artificial The enlightenment of intelligent economics on future work and the detailed analysis of its distinctive language characteristics.The second part of the thesis provides an informative description of the translation practice process,covering the timing of this translation practice report as well as the preparation before translation and quality control during the translation process.The third part is a case study,in which the translator,guided by Eugene Nida’s theory of functional equivalence,selects representative words and sentences,takes a lexical,syntactic and semantic analysis of the original text as the starting point,and seeks translation strategies for the relevant text by analyzing and summarizing translation methods.The fourth part summarizes the translation practice.While summarizing the gains,it also reflects deeply on the problems encountered in the translation process and reflects on the shortcomings.Through the translation practice report,the research methods mastered by the translator have been well used.Through this practice,the translator’s understanding of translation strategies has been enriched. |
