| The promotion of Putonghua has made great progress so far,but the Putonghua penetration rate in the central region(especially small towns)is not ideal,but previous studies have paid less attention to it.Henan Province is located in the Central Plains,with a large population flow,and the process of urbanization is accelerating.The language problems of small towns urgently need to be resolved to adapt to their social development.As the popularity of compulsory education becomes higher and higher,the importance of schools and teachers in popularizing Putonghua also has become higher and higher.By investigating the language status of teachers,we can realize that the current status and problems in local promotion of Putonghua to a certain extent,and at the same time,we can provide some reasonable and targeted suggestions for local language policies.Xincai County was once a state-level poverty-stricken county,and vigorously promoting Putonghua in the region is both conducive to consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation and contributing to its urbanization.Therefore,this study takes teachers in Xincai County,Henan Province as an example,collects data through a questionnaire,and uses amos22.0 and spss24.0 software for statistical analysis.In this paper,statistical methods such as independent sample T test,One-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis and regression analysis are mainly used for data analysis,and combines interviews to study the status and influencing factors of teachers’ language ability,language use,language attitudes and influence factors in Xincai County,as well as Xincai the effect of county teachers’ language status.The results of the study show that there are group differences in the Putonghua level of teachers in Xincai County,but there is no significant difference in dialect ability.In Xincai County,Putonghua is still far from becoming a "campus language".There is no significant difference in the overall language attitude of teachers in Xincai County,but the school’s language management policy has a significant influence on the attitude of teachers in Putonghua.Whether in the emotional dimension or the value dimension,teachers in Xincai County are more inclined to Putonghua in language attitude.However,the language attitude has no special effect on the language use of teachers in Xincai County.To ensure the use of Putonghua in teachers in Xincai County,the most important thing is to create a Putonghua environment in the school.At the same time,teachers’ language use in school significantly affects students’ Putonghua ability,Putonghua use and attitude towards Putonghua,and there is a significant causal relationship between them.Therefore,in areas where the popularity and quality of Putonghua is not high,promoting Putonghua through teachers has practical feasibility and effectiveness.This article is divided into five parts.The first chapter is mainly about the reason for selecting the topic and a summary of the previous research.The second chapter is mainly about the questionnaire design and its reliability and validity analysis.The third chapter is the analysis of the language ability,language use and language attitude of teachers in Xincai County and the analysis of its influencing factors.The fourth chapter is to discuss the effect of teachers’ language status in Xincai County and the current language situation of middle school students in Xincai County.The fifth chapter is mainly to research findings and suggestions,with a view to helping Xincai County promote Putonghua higher and provide reference for other areas where Putonghua is not popular. |
