Mo Yan was born in Dongbei Township,Gaomi City,Shandong Province on February 17,1955.He is the winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize for literature and the first Nobel Prize winner in China. In 1981,he published his first short story, rain in spring and night. In 1985,it became famous for "transparent carrot".In 1986,published the novella Red Sorghum family in people’s literature magazine, which caused a great sensation in the literary world. In 2011,he won Mao Dun Literature Award for his novel frog.He won the Nobel Prize for literature in 2012.Yu Hua said that Mo Yan’s literary road is an anti elite literary road. The unique charm of his novels lies in that he dare to face the reality, flog the reality, draw fresh materials from the reality and implant them into his literary world,so as to integrate reality with fiction and human nature with grotesque.Secondly, children’s narration is absolutely the most common narrative technique in Mo Yan’s works, which supports Mo Yan’s literary world together with other narrative techniques. The children in Mo Yan ’s works do not appear in the works only as narrators, but as "another eye" to see the world. However,at present, the research on children’s narrative in Mo Yan’s novels is not deep enough, and there are still some contents to be explored.Based on this, this paper takes children’s narrative as the research object, and takes children’s image as the entry point to explore the children’s heart, behavior and aesthetic meaning in Mo Yan’s novels. The introduction part introduces the reason of the topic, the current situation of Mo Yan’s novel research, the main research direction, the purpose and significance of the research, defines the related concepts involved in the paper again, and finally briefly introduces the main content of the paper. The first chapter combs and expounds the related concepts of children’s narration.Children’s narration is a theory put forward in recent years, and there are few articles about children’s narration. To clarify the relationship between children’s narration and narration, the relationship between Mo Yan and children’s narration is the "golden key" to explore the children’s world in Mo Yan’s novels. The second chapter combs and expounds the world of children in Mo Yan’s works. It mainly combs the image of children in Mo Yan’s short stories and explores his inner world. The images of children in Mo Yan’s works are different. After combing according to the family status,we can find the following categories: children in a sound family, children in a single parent family, children who do not mention the family, and children who only get along with male elders.According to the development of time,we can find that Mo Yan’s short stories focus on describing the image of children during the cultural revolution. The limitations of the times and society doomed to the neglect of children, which directly led to children bear too heavy pressure at a young age, resulting in a variety of internal trauma, making children’s many emotional expressions realized through dreams.Analyze children’s "dream writing" and explore children’s sharp, yet not standardized world. All kinds of children’s images in Mo Yan’s works are an external expression of Mo Yan’s inner mind.Through his works of children’s world, the author reveals his calm thinking about reality. The third chapter focuses on the children’s narrative strategy and perspective in Mo Yan’s short stories. Many of the stories Mo Yan wrote are told by the old people in his hometown. So many of Mo Yan’s works use the expression of "storytelling".The expression of "storytelling" is generally divided into two kinds, that is,children themselves are storytellers and the two kinds of storytelling scenes that appear between the narrator and the audience. The integration of children’s narration and folk story makes Mo Yan’s many works have changeable narrative angle and excellent narrative tension.Secondly, social background and historical reasons lead to the survival test of most of the children in Mo Yan’s works, such as hunger and disease, natural disasters and man-made disasters;most of the children in Mo Yan’s works live in the era of material scarcity, and what is the existence of food for children? The children in Mo Yan’s works are like the spirits in the heaven and the earth, wandering on the earth,so what kind of life state they are writing the legendary and magical history. The fourth chapter explores the uniqueness of children’s narration in Mo Yan’s novels.Mo Yan integrates his life experience into his works to express his true feelings. Most of the children in his works are mainly image thinking, relying on their own sensory cognition, and concreting things. We should look at every scene in our life from an objective perspective, and give readers more diversified perspectives. In the epilogue part, the author sums up the whole thesis and points out the unique charm of children’s narration in Mo Yan’s novels.
