On The Weakening Of Lines In "New Meticulous Brush Painting" Figure Painting

Fine brushwork figure painting has formed a relatively complete painting system after a long development.Line modeling can be said to be the most basic modeling elements and means of fine brushwork figure painting.From the single line of silk paintings in the Warring States period to the extremely thick and thin strong contrast or simplification of Liang Kai in the Song Dynasty,it shows the important aesthetic value and unique charm of lines as a formal language.However,with the introduction of foreign painting,the change of aesthetic concept,the evolution of meticulous figure painting itself and a series of internal and external factors,a "new meticulous" painting phenomenon has appeared in the field of junior middle school Chinese painting in the 21 st century.Compared with the existing meticulous form,"new meticulous" especially the figure painting has many advantages: the general scale is large,suitable for large-scale painting exhibition,and space advantage It pays attention to the color relationship,pursues the color of more image,and the picture structure is easy to be integrated;it adopts multiple painting techniques to create in-depth,free access in the modeling of realism and image.With a large number of exhibitions,albums,activities and so on,the "new fine brushwork" has been widely concerned by the society.After more than ten years of development,it has formed a force that can not be ignored.But as it attracts many followers,the weakening of lines in the language form of new meticulous figure painting has also attracted people’s attention,and even caused great controversy in the professional field.This is my graduation thesis in the graduate study stage.Aiming at the phenomenon that the line is weakened in meticulous painting,I put forward my own views.I hope that through the analysis of such a phenomenon,I can deeply explore the root cause of the line weakening and some problems encountered in the development of meticulous figure painting.There are five chapters in this paper: the introduction part summarizes the reason of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,summarizes the current situation of such subjects,explains the relevant concepts,research methods and innovations;the second chapter mainly introduces the change process of lines in ancient and modern figure painting and the transformation form of lines between the old and new fine brushwork;the third chapter introduces "new fine brushwork" ”This paper analyzes the state of the creation of figure painting,discusses its group activities and its "new" artistic features compared with traditional fine brushwork,and probes into the phenomenon of line weakening in their paintings based on the cases of two typical painters;the fourth chapter analyzes the causes of the phenomenon and its specific performance in the "new fine brushwork" painting from the artist’s works;the fifth chapter puts forward its own view on the phenomenon of line weakening The value and thinking of Contemporary Meticulous figure painting.The conclusion part is the last chapter,which summarizes and analyzes the artistic characteristics of the weakening of new meticulous lines on the basis of the full text,and draws a conclusion.In this paper,from the perspective of contemporary research on meticulous figure painting,Chinese painting is showing an emerging trend of diversified development in the process of contemporary transformation.In terms of form,the weakening of lines is not the weakness of traditional Chinese art itself.Whether we can regard this phenomenon as a breakthrough way in the development of Chinese painting presents more new possibilities.Therefore,Chinese Contemporary Meticulous figure painting still has a long way to go,which needs to be explored in many ways.
