As the frequent communication of global politics,economy,science and technology,culture and sports,international communication have become increasingly close,with the further deepening of China’s economic opening up,our country for foreign talents have become increasingly demanding,the prominent now pay more attention to the oral English communicative ability,which has become a necessary ability in today’s society,it will greatly shorten the distance of the world’s at the same time,also close interpersonal relationships,help to achieve "effective communication" with the world for new era talents,so as to realize the ideal of life.In the stage of basic education of the English teaching in primary school in the process of English learning,the improvement of students’ oral communication ability has very high practical value,on the one hand,students’ interest is the best teacher,the strong interest formed in primary school can provide continuous motivation for English learning in the future.On the other hand,primary school students are extremely gifted in language,and their oral language input in primary school is quite basic,realistic and operable.Teachers’ teaching efficiency and communication effect are relatively obvious.However,under the influence of the exam-oriented education system,the traditional oral English teaching in primary schools in China has always been inclined to focus on knowledge indoctrination and grammar teaching,simply emphasizing the training of reading and writing skills,and ignoring the cultivation of students’ oral English communication skills.It is imperative to understand the current situation of students’ oral English ability in primary school and analyze the main influencing factors,so as to explore the feasible strategies of effective programs to cultivate students’ oral English ability.We start this paper from the research significance and the basic concept of the improvement of students’ oral English ability in primary school,with the theories of Chomsky’s linguistic theory,Gardner’s social education mode,the second language acquisition second language communication frequency and McIntyre’s "pyramid" model theory as the theoretical basis,according to the analysis of both at home and abroad on the review of the literature of the primary school English communicative competence,through questionnaires,classroom observations and teacher interviews,surveys and analyses the status,troubles and causes of students’ oral English communicative ability,then according to the causes and influence factors,the cultivation path for oral Englishcommunicative ability has been designed,of which the scientific nature and effectiveness have been verified by the experiment analysis,under the guidance of the experimental results,the cultivation path is modified,and finally,combining with the experiment,the specific and effective cultivation strategy is proposed,that is,to create a good language environment for oral communication including main classroom activities and organized extracurricular activities,improve students’ intrinsic motivation for oral English learning and change the evaluation mode of students’ oral English communication.This study provides some ideas and suggestions for primary school English teachers in oral English teaching practice.
