Porcelain is a shining pearl in the history of Chinese civilization.Porcelain in Shandong Province was created earlier and lasted for a long time.Ancient kiln sites are mostly concentrated in central Shandong and southwestern Shandong.Although the southwestern area is rich in ancient kiln sites,there are more published materials.The related research is not very comprehensive.This article uses the specimen materials in the published survey and excavation reports in southwestern Shandong,as well as other specimens in the area that have been supplemented and drawn as basic materials,summarizes the phased characteristics of the products at the kiln site,and analyzes the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of the kiln site,and internal and external exchange The general characteristics and connotation of ancient kiln sites in southwestern Shandong are discussed in terms of the reasons for the rise and fall of kiln sites.This article mainly through combing the historical geography of southwestern Shandong,clarifying the objective conditions of the distribution and production of porcelain kiln sites in southwestern Shandong.A comprehensive study on the products of kiln sites in southwestern Shandong was carried out to further clarify the scale and historical status of ancient porcelain production in southwestern Shandong in various eras.In order to analyze the epoch characteristics of porcelain in southwestern Shandong,infer the firing age of each porcelain kiln in the area,and summarize its temporal and spatial distribution characteristics.And explore the social and economic conditions in southwestern Shandong,further clarify the advantages and disadvantages of the development of kiln sites in southwestern Shandong,and explore the reasons for the prosperity and decline of porcelain production in this region.
