On A Yuan’s Novels

Since the 20th century,the wave of commoditization has swept the cultural circle,and the university "ivory tower" has also been impacted.Under the dual impact of the commodity economy and the rigid university system,intellectuals have also begun to change their values.The traditional way of enlightening the public and assuming responsibility Intellectuals with social responsibility as their responsibility began to move closer to the values of money first and material desires,and morality began to decline.A Yuan,who is a college teacher,paid attention to the changes in intellectuals,so she created in the wave of this new century.A large number of novels by intellectuals in colleges and universities,she wrote about the daily life of intellectuals,emotional and marital issues,and presented the life of intellectuals in the ivory tower.This thesis includes introduction,body,conclusion,etc.The body is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly sorts out the themes of A Yuan’s novels.A Yuan’s novels generally reveal the following three themes:one is the exposure of the academic status quo of the dilemma of the advancement and retreat of colleges and universities;the second is the worry about the loss of autonomy of contemporary women;the third is the right The ruthless deconstruction of family and affection.The second chapter analyzes the artistic characteristics of A Yuan’s novel creation from three aspects:narrative perspective,narrative method and language characteristics.This article believes that its artistic techniques include three aspects:one is the omnipotent narrative perspective;the second is flexible and diverse narrative methods;the third is the language characteristics of both ancient elegance and acrimony.The third chapter discusses the value of A Yuan’s novels and points out its limitations.Its value is manifested in the following two aspects:one is in the writing of intellectuals in colleges and universities,which reflects the variation of the theme from enlightenment reflection to eating and drinking men and women;the second is from the perspective of women,it examines contemporary women and expresses the urban and rural areas in the 21st century.The gloom and ugliness of women,especially those of Kochi.There is a suspicion of self-repetition in A Yuan’s novels,which is mainly manifested in the repetition of the subject matter,plot,character image and details.
