Application Of Shadow Puppet Element In Blue And White Decoration

Shadow puppet occupies a place in traditional cultural for its unique decorative charm.It has rich formative arts and decorative elements.It is the precious memory and wealth left by the older generation of craftsmen.Blue and white porcelain is traditional Chinese artwork with same representativeness as shadow puppet.The style of blue and white porcelain is fresh and elegant with dignified atmosphere.Blue and white decoration,one of the manifestation mode of blue and white decoration,expresses the most simple artistic language by the simplest blue.Drawing lessons from the shadow puppet elements,it is used in blue and white decoration so as to enrich the cultural connotation of blue and white decoration.This paper first studies the characters and cultural connotation shadow puppet.Secondly,there is a case study on the application of shadow elements and decorative works of blue and white decoration.Finally,the feasibility of combining shadow elements with blue and white decoration is explored.This paper describes the whole process of the decorative creation of blue and white decoration,including creative ideas,production process,and presentation of the effect map.Taking the shadow element of filial piety as a clue,with s figures,animals,and camp hangings of shadow puppet as the theme,blue and white performance techniques is adopted to create works of "Xi ","Play "," handsome camp",as well as series of extended works " Sun and Moon Peer ","Sea General ",and " Light and Shadow ".On the one hand,this creation enriches the cultural connotation of blue and white decoration.On the other hand,it embodies the charm of filial piety shadow element and has a positive influence on the innovation and development of filial piety shadow puppet culture.
