Federico mompou,April 16,1893 to June 30,1987,a Spanish composer and pianist,is a master who is easily ignored in the history of piano literature.He has created many works in his life,such as “Can(?)ó i dansa”,“Impresiones (?)ntimas”、“Variations on a Theme of Chopin”、“Préludes”...This document will focus on three parts: The first part mainly introduces mompou’s life and his writing style,and introduces the creation origin of Chopin theme variations.The second part mainly analyzes the form of the music.The third part explains the theme material of this song,the Chopin a major prelude op.28,no.7 and then analyzes the main points of the performance of mopou’s Chopin theme variation,and finally summarizes the main points.The author hopes that through this article,we can let the majority of performers understand Mompou and the music style of his works,so that when we meet his works,we can have a general direction and interpret his works more accurately.
