The Research On Suspense Setting In Micro Films

With the coming of "micro era",micro film was born.In 2010,the first micro film advertisement was on the screen,and the concept of micro film was gradually known by the audience.In recent years,the micro film industry has developed rapidly.Due to the characteristics of the time,concise,wide range of materials,low production cost and short production cycle,micro film has gradually occupied a place in the film and television industry.The same as the traditional movies,suspense is an indispensable element of the micro movies.Suspense can promote the development of the story and maintain the audience’s interest.At the same time,the suspense setting of micro film affects the quality of micro film,and the vitality of micro film is inseparable from the suspense setting.The suspense setting of micro movies are different from the traditional movies,The suspense setting of micro movies are limited by the length of time and has its unique charm in narrative and other aspects.This paper combs and explores the current situation of suspense setting in the micro film and puts forward its own views,and deeply studies the current situation and development of suspense setting in micro film through the case analysis,cross text summary,and my graduation practice.In each chapter of this paper,it will be demonstrated with specific micro film works,and focus on the differences between micro film suspense and traditional film suspense setting,as well as many aspects of micro film suspense narrative,anddiscribes how to set suspense in micro film through audio-visual language.This paper makes an in-depth study on the suspense setting of the micro film,hoping to provide a theoretical basis for the development of micro film industry in the future.This paper is divided into six parts to study the suspense setting of micro film.The introduction of this paper mainly explains the research background,expounds the research status of "micro film","suspense","suspense setting in micro film" at home and abroad,and explains the research significance,objectives and research methods of this paper.The first chapter of this paper is the basic theory part,which demonstrates the concept definition,emergence and development of suspense.The first chaper studies suspense across texts,and discusses the relationship between suspense and traditional film and micro film respectively,and demonstrates the difference between suspense settings in the traditional film and micro film with specific films.The second chapter is to demonstrate the classification of micro film suspense.This paper imitates the traditional film suspense classification,and divides micro film suspense into four types: the audience and the characters in the film are known,the audience and the characters in the film are unknown,the audience is unknown,the characters in the film are known,the audience is known,and the characters in the film are unknown.This paper discusses these four categories from the perspective of micro film,combined with specific works.The third chapter is the key content of this paper,which studies the suspense narrative of the micro film.First of all,this chapter analyzes the suspense of micro film based on the narrative perspective of micro film,and expounds it from three aspects: omniscient perspective,character limited perspective and character objective perspective.Secondly,this chapter demonstrates two factors that affect the suspense narrative rhythm of micro film: the treatment of suspense time and the setting of narrative plot.Thirdly,it analyzes the suspense from three aspects: linear narrative structure,nonlinear narrative structure and fragmented narrative structure.In addition,this chapter also studies the suspense in plot narrative,character narrative and detail narrative.The fourth chapter specifically discusses how the suspense of micro film is presented through audio-visual language,mainly focusing on two aspects of visual picture and audio-visual language.The conclusion aims at the current situation of the development of micro film,combined with the development of short video industry,makes a horizontal analysis,and discusses the change of micro film suspense extending to short video suspense.
