The Shaping Strategy Of Character Image In Movie Script

Screenplay is an art based on reflecting life,in which the characters are regarded as the core and soul of the screenplay.In the script,the expression of the theme,the establishment and resolution of conflicts,the preparation of details and the setting of plots all need the participation of characters.Without characters,the plot would not be established at all.Based on the creative experience of excellent films in the history of Chinese and foreign films and the creative practice of the original screenplay "VR Partner",this paper takes the characters in the screenplay as the research object,and elaborates the shaping strategies of characters in the screenplay from three aspects.The first part is to create a multi-dimensional character image.The first is the portrayal of the protagonist’s image.This paper innovatively describes the image of the protagonist from four aspects: social field,family field,love field and private field,and focuses on revealing the complex character characteristics of the protagonist and the development and change process of his character track.The second is the portrayal of supporting characters.This paper focuses on the social environment,family background,inner world and other aspects of the supporting role,and highlights the full three-dimensional character personality of the supporting role exquisitely and comprehensively.The second part builds multi-type character relationship.Firstly,through the comparison between different characters,the auxiliary character relationship is built to highlight the character characteristics of the main characters.Secondly,in the intertwine of internal conflicts and external crises,the author builds the relationship of mutual achievement and reveals the hidden inner character characteristics of the characters.Finally,the complex social environment is set up,and the positive and negative contrast is used to build the antagonistic and competitive character relationship,and the growth process of characters is emphasized.The third part sets the typical character details.First of all,the action details transform the psychological activities of the characters into the action pictures with visual modeling,so as to achieve the effect of silence over sound,and make the characters more full and rich.Secondly,the language details reveal the real emotional world of the characters by digging the subtext connotation of the characters.
