Zizek is an important left-wing thinker in the contemporary west. His main contributions include the dissemination of Lacanian psychoanalysis, the re exploration of Hegel’s dialectics and the construction of ideological theory. His exposition involves politics, opera, film and many other aspects.Based on his psychoanalysis and ideological theory, this paper analyzes the "subject","reality" and the appropriate ethical logic involved in his film theory. The main body of the paper consists of four chapters:The first chapter will be in the dual theoretical background of Lacanian psychoanalysis and ideological theory, and make a horizontal and vertical comparative analysis of Zizek’s film theory,in order to have a clear positioning of his involvement in film theory from two dimensions. In the dimension of Lacanian psychoanalysis, between Zizek and post theory there are coexisting antagonistic contradiction and non antagonistic contradiction. In addition Zizek and other contemporary philosophers involved in the field of film have some similarities in their ideological tendencies and differences in their specific concerns.Zizek’s psychoanalysis and ideological theory have opened up new contents for the development of film theory respectively. The second chapter discusses the subjectivity of audience. In the film theory of psychoanalysis, the audience’s status changes from negative to positive, but Zizek’s subjective view transcends the opposition between positive and negative. He inherited Lacan’s split subject and Hegel’s absolute subject, and developed his own concept of subject on the basis of dialectical integration of the two.On the basis of this theory, the subjectivity of the audience has been developed, and new types of audience have been divided, which are the subject presumed to know and the subject of reflection. The third chapter discusses that the subject is fecing new changes in the relationship between film and reality in the age of post film with the development of digital technology.Because of the image intervention in life and the reality against the virtual, they have a further blend.Under the new development trend,Zizek’s parallax theory provides different cognitive perspectives for reality, distinguishes the Virtual and the Reality, and locates the complex reality from three perspectives:the Imaginary, the Symbolic and the Real.Under the new cognition,to grasp the reality dimension in the film is to return to the Real in the audio or/and visual form by using the new reality measurement standard. The fourth chapter starts with the analysis of the narrative crisis of the film, and discusses the ethical issues needed by the new reality. When "fiction" being brought into"reality",Zizek thinks that we should give up "ethical obligation" to save "ethical dimension".He inherited Lacan’s desire and thought that we should face up to the desire which is beyond the pleasure principle and get a subject of ethical consciousness surpassing utilitarianism. On this basis, the absence of heroism in the film has a new narrative possibility.
