As a foreign painting form,Western oil painting has its own history and uniqueness.After experiencing the integration and collision of traditional Chinese landscape painting and oil painting scenery,Chinese oil painting came into being with the traditional Chinese humanistic spirit,connotation,methods and methods.Oil painting has formed its own system in the process of local evolution.This is due to the artists who have made efforts to merge Chinese and Western art from the last century to the present stage.The exchange between the two paintings has become a cliché.Every artist’s pen is full of fresh vitality.It still needs continuous innovation and continuous development of more forms of oil painting artistic expression language.Therefore,we can be sure that the combination of traditional Chinese painting and Western oil painting is a vitality.Art theme.As the protagonist of traditional Chinese painting,landscape painting and western oil painting landscape both use natural scenery as the main object of expression in a large field of vision,and both can be collectively referred to as landscape painting.Through my own painting practice and exploration,the author of this paper uses landscape painting techniques as the starting point to learn from the process of studying the origins and changes of ancient landscape painting techniques,combining traditional writings with contemporary painting practices,looking for commonalities,and exploring the techniques of two art forms.The level of communication,conversion,and reference are embedded in the creation of personal landscape oil paintings in the combined application,and the final expression of the oil painting landscape from form to meaning is reflected by the technique as the link,which is the development context and practical sequence of this article.
