| This paper studies Guangzhou Municipal Art school in the period of the Republic of China from the perspective of teaching.The school was founded in 1922,The school was replaced by five principals until it was disbanded in 1938 due to turbulent circumstances.As the first local public art school in South China,Guangzhou Municipal Art School is the largest art school in Guangdong from the 1920 s to the 1930s(until the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War).It is the source of spreading the new art movement and the window of western art.At the same time,the faculty of the school is composed of a large number of Japanese and western scholars,They were the practitioners of the Chinese modern art thoughts of saving the country,the art revolution,and the artist thoughts at that time,and brought a relatively complete educational teaching idea and system to the Guangzhou Municipal Art School.Not only that,the establishment of guangzhou municipal art school had a certain influence on the visual art education in modern China,and provided a good case study for the history of the basic mode of running art schools in this stage in south China.For this reason,this paper takes the teaching of the school as the research object and divides the text into four parts to carry out the discussion.The research focus is composed of three major parts: First,based on the original literature materials,the author upholds the spirit of empirical research on the Guangzhou City Art School.The school history and the development of each department and department are objectively restored.Secondly,on the basis of clarifying the history of the city and the United States,the teaching details,teaching faculty,curriculum settings,teaching effectiveness and other historical details are used as breakthroughs to explore the teaching of the city and the Western painting department,the Chinese painting department,the pattern painting department,and the art teacher department.And research.Finally,knowing the past is another goal pursued by this article.The author attempts to discover the impact and practical significance of the shortcomings in the actual teaching process of Shimei on contemporary art education in China.Based on the above research,we see that the exclusivity and inclusiveness of the culture determine the diversified development patterns of Shimei in the input and output of teaching.Through this new art school,which is different from the traditional teaching method of private apprenticeship,the students of Shimei get the opportunity to accept the world’s modern painting theory under the great tide of society and in the environment and ideas of Shimei’s artistic survival and growth,Broadening the horizon of world arts.students learn the painting skills from the teachers who have studied abroad in the city and the United States,and participate in art practice to improve the attitude of youth Accepting new literary and artistic thoughts,and closely linking The new culture movement with artistic innovation,.In southern China at that time,the relationship between art and society,as well as between painters and society,was changing. |
